Interesting New Year's games for the family. Games and competitions for the New Year for the whole family

New Year...Even the name of this holiday exudes incredible freshness and magic, because with this holiday we associate new hopes, make new plans, expect new gifts and unforgettable meetings. That’s why many New Year’s entertainments are directly related to these expectations, to fortune-telling and endless wishes to each other for all the best in the new year.

New Year's games at the table, those presented here help you plunge into this magical atmosphere.

1. Game at the table "Next year I..."

At the festive table, you can arrange an auction: the last guest to come up with a rhyme for the phrase: “Next year I promise...” receives a prize. In this case, it is not truthfulness that is important, but the speed of invention, the first thing that comes to mind. For example,

“Next year I promise-

I’m going to give birth to a lot of kids!”

Next year I promise

I’m flying to the Canaries,” etc.

You can tighten the conditions of the game: let the guests sitting at the table come up with ideas one by one (if they don’t have time for “one, two, three”), they drop out of the game, the winner is the one who has the richest imagination and the fastest reaction - he gets a prize.

If the conditions of the feast allow, then this game can be based on predictions. For example, everyone receives three pieces of paper on which they write their wishes or dreams, then all the pieces of paper are collected in a hat, mixed, and what one draws will come true.

2. Distribution of gifts at the New Year's table "Win-win lottery"

Each guest draws (or receives for participating in games and competitions) lottery ticket with a specific number, each number is a specific prize.

3. General toast "New Year's alphabet".

To add a playful touch to the proclamation of toasts, the toastmaster, in the midst of the New Year's celebrations, may, for example, doubt that the cheerful guests remember the alphabet. Then he invites everyone to fill their glasses and take turns saying a toast to the New Year, the first one starting with the letter “A”, like: “ A x, what a fabulous night! I suggest we drink so that it never ends!” The second person begins his toast accordingly with the letter “B” and so on.

The most interesting thing is when it comes to “Y” or “Y”. Here the presenter can suggest that you can start with the exclamation: “Yoh! How good!” or “Wow, what ladies have we gathered here!” etc.

Of course, letters that do not represent sounds are skipped. The guest whose congratulatory toast is especially liked by the public receives a comic medal.

4. Decoy to dance “Both boys and girls are all very good”

This table game can serve as fun entertainment and a decoy for The presenter announces that there is a New Year's sign that whoever celebrates the New Year cheerfully, dances a lot, can "get out" from all problems and leave them in the past, then suggests doing a little warm-up. As soon as the word “boys” is heard, all the young people quickly get up and spin around their axis and sit down again, and when the word “girls” is said, the girls spin around, respectively. And so - for every word heard, “boy” and “girl”. Ready, let's start.

On New Year's Day in our country everyone gives gifts, and everyone feels hot with fun and love. Boys often give girls flowers so that all their dreams come true. And the Girls kiss them back and say that there is no better person in the world. The girls raise their glasses behind the young man and wish the young men joy and health. The boys, of course, do not lag behind them; today they dance and sing for the Girls. The gathered Girls are very good. And young men with such people will dance from the heart.

5. Activation of the New Year's Bells hall.

Leading. In Central America, as soon as the clock strikes midnight, all the sirens and bells begin to ring deafeningly. Before the final summing up, it is time to ring a deafening New Year's bell.

(The presenter approaches the 1st sector.)
You will perform the part of a large bell, preferably ringing it low, loudly and slowly: “Boo-um! Boo-um!” Rehearsing...

(The presenter approaches the 2nd sector.)
You have a middle bell part, your sound is higher and shorter: “Bim-bom! Bim-bom!” Let's try...

(The presenter approaches the 3rd sector.)
Your part is the part of a small bell, the sound is even higher and more frequent: “Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!” So…

(The presenter approaches sector 4.)
You got a batch of bells, the sound is the highest and most frequent: “La-la! La-la! La-la! La-la!” Picture...

So, pay attention! The big bell begins to sound... The middle one comes in... The small bell joins in... And the ringing bells flow in...

Each sector plays its part - this is the ringing of the bell.

Option 2.Salute to Santa Claus.

The same game to activate the hall can be organized before the arrival of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, offering to arrange a fireworks display in their honor. To do this, the presenter divides the hall into three teams, the first, when Santa Claus appears, shouts in unison: “Hurray!”, the second applauds loudly, and the third stomps their feet. Any game either in honor of Santa Claus or with him will be very useful.

6. Game at table "B" New Year without debts."

The summary of the game is something like this: “Everyone knows the sign that in order to live the whole next year without debts - you need to pay them off in the old year. I suggest performing a ritual for those who have not yet managed to do this. Here I have a magic casket (shows a piggy bank or casket). Anyone who wants to part with their creditors once and for all can throw any amount into it, while internally they need to very strongly and sincerely wish themselves wealth and prosperity. And remember, the more generous you are in repaying debts, the more favorable the coming New Year will be to you!”

Then the “casket” goes in a circle to the song “Money, Money.” When everyone who wants to repay their debts “replenishes the treasury” and the piggy bank returns to the host, you can arrange an auction, saying that one of the guests will become richer right now, it will be the one who most accurately guesses the accumulated amount. Let special people write down all the proposed versions along with the names of the “predictors”. Then, together, the people must choose a “banker” who will “break” the piggy bank and conscientiously calculate how much money is actually in it and hand it over to the winner (discrepancies of five to ten rubles are allowed).

7. Game "Magic Bag of Fortunes".

A list of inexpensive little things that you can take as gifts from Santa Claus: a box of matches, a ball, chewing gum, a tennis ball, a lighter, lollipop, a disk, a brush, a pencil, glasses, an adapter, a bag, decals, paper clips, a bag of tea, calendar, notepad, postcard, bag of coffee, eraser, top, sharpener, bow, magnet, pen, thimble, toy, bell, medal, etc.

Games at the table at the New Year's party help to entertain guests, lift the general mood, overcome the discomfort that many experience at the beginning of the party, encourage dancing, or become a good lead-in to presenting gifts.

What could be better than celebrating the New Year with your family, together with your loved ones? How interesting is it to organize a family New Year's holiday if married couples and children gather in the company circle? What games and competitions are best to choose for the New Year? If you are racking your brains over these questions, don’t worry, we will tell you a way to have fun celebrating the family New Year and offer New Year's scenario for adults and children.

____________________________

NEW YEAR IN THE FAMILY CIRCLE

Let's think about how and what are the best family New Year's competitions and family games for the New Year to organize. Firstly, you need to take into account the number of participants in the holiday and their age, of course. Secondly, think over a menu for the festive New Year's table that is suitable for everyone. It’s good if the table setting is appropriate, for example, small children don’t necessarily need to watch adults drink alcohol, so bottles and glasses for alcohol can be “disguised” with the same tinsel. The main thing is not to forget to do the same for children, making juices and compotes even more attractive for them than for adults. You will not have any problems with this at all if you decide to organize a family New Year's holiday in the form of a themed party. For example, a New Year’s scenario for adults and children based on the fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland” (everyone will drink from the tea set, and you yourself will figure out what to pour into the “teapot for adults”) or “Treasure Island” (all the pirates drink “ rum"), etc.

The most important thing for the holiday is family games and competitions for the New Year. It’s not difficult to come up with them for a themed party - based on the plot chosen for the script. And if your friendly group doesn’t really like dressing up and pretending, then the New Year’s scenario for adults and children can be arbitrary, the main thing is that everyone has fun. It is better to start such entertainment when celebrating the New Year with your family from approximately 21.00 in the evening in order to celebrate the New Year in an enthusiastic mood. By midnight, the kids will be tired enough to go to bed right after the chimes and let the adults have a blast! And so, a New Year's scenario for adults and children.

NEW YEAR SCENARIO: FAMILY NEW YEAR

To begin with, you can give everyone a piece of paper and a pen so that they describe the most significant event of the outgoing year and their cherished dream for the coming New Year. Little kids can draw this. All the leaves are put into a box, which together is beautifully decorated with pictures, snowflakes, tinsel, etc. The box is sealed with tape and put aside until the next New Year to open it in the family circle, read it and fill it with new contents. Children will really like this activity, and parents will also be interested in looking into it later, remembering the family New Year and saving children's doodles for a long time.

Let's imagine that there are a lot of guests and you need to organize a family New Year's party with games and competitions for everyone. If there are, for example, about twenty of you, then you need to prepare in advance for the participants of the evening:

  • 1. 10 sticks,
  • 2. 10 brooms (mini-applications similar to the “broom” emblem),
  • 3. 20 homemade envelopes;
  • 4. about a hundred snow balls, rolled them out of cotton wool yourself;
  • 5. Applique Christmas trees that act as a medal for each victory in the competition;
  • 6. balloons, newspapers, confetti, ice cream, prizes for competitions, etc.

We place sticks and brooms into the prepared envelopes, and put the envelopes themselves into a hat. When the time comes to hold family New Year competitions and family games for the New Year, we distribute envelopes to the guests. Those who received a wand become members of the “Fir-trees-sticks” team, others become members of the “Fir-trees-brooms” team (you can get creative with the names and attributes). Applications indicating membership in a particular team can be attached to clothing with a pin.

Family competitions for the New Year: “Competition for the best New Year’s costume.”

Buy in bulk in advance toilet paper, masks, glasses, noses, jewelry, pick up old dresses, scarves, skirts, etc. Next, the teams draw lots for who to prepare which costume. For example, you can wish for costumes of the Snow Maiden, a clown, an Indian, or a pirate. Whoever did it better and funnier gets a prize Christmas tree.

Family competitions for the New Year: “Frosty Breath”.

This competition will be more interesting for children. Paper snowflakes are laid out in one row on the table. Participants must blow on them so that they fall from the table to the floor. When all the snowflakes fall, we surprise the competition participants by informing them that the contestant whose snowflake fell the last won. That is, he has the most “frosty breath”; he froze a snowflake to the table.

Family New Year's singing competitions: "Song from a hat."

Put small notes in the hat with just one word written on them, for example: Santa Claus, icicle, frost, Christmas tree, etc. Each team member takes turns taking notes out of their hats and performing a song or fragment of a song whose text contains the word written in the note - always a winter or New Year's song! Whichever team gives up first and cannot remember the right song loses.

Family games for the New Year: “Snowball fight.”

Hand out snowballs made from cotton wool to the teams. At the command of the presenter, as soon as the cheerful music starts, everyone begins to throw snowballs at each other. When the host turns off the music, the task of the participants becomes to collect as many snowballs as possible, both their own and their opponents. The team that collects the most snowballs receives a prize Christmas tree. Don’t rush to turn off the music, let adults and children play a little - throwing snowballs is always fun, even if they are not real.

Competition for adults and children: “New Year’s competitions - riddles.”

The presenter asks the teams one by one riddles or simply asks questions on topics related to the New Year. The winner is the team that gives the most correct answers. Riddles and questions can be anything, but preferably fun, and so that they are suitable for adults and children, so that they are interesting for both adults and children to guess, that is, alternate their complexity and “adultness”.

(ANSWER: Replacing combing with washing)

– Can an ostrich call itself a bird?
(ANSWER: no, he cannot speak).

Family games for the New Year: “Chain” competition.

All team members play, each standing in his own chain, alternating between “boy” and “girl”. Each participant takes a match between his teeth. The first one puts a ring on the match. The point of the game is to pass the ring along the chain - one after another, from match to match, without helping with your hands! And so on, until the last participant. Whichever team completed it faster won.

Funny family New Year's competitions: "Grandfather was involved."

Prepare two texts in advance about the New Year and the adventures of Santa Claus - at your discretion. In these texts, all adjectives must be omitted. Print them out so that there are blank spaces where the adjectives are. Do not show them to participants and do not reveal the essence of the game. Let the players take turns naming any adjectives, the presenter will write them in the empty spaces in the text. Then the presenter will read what happened. As a rule, it turns out to be very funny, and whoever has the funniest story is the winner.

Family New Year's entertainment: "Literary competition."

The essence of the game is to come up with the funniest continuation of a line in rhyme on the theme of the New 2014 Year of the Horse. The teams are given identical sentences, written in advance on sheets of paper, and in 10 minutes they must come up with original endings for them. Sentences and endings can be different, for example:

  • 1. After New Year’s Eve... – In the morning Vova doesn’t want to get up.
  • 2. Well, we waited for the gifts... - And we got into a fight with my sister.
  • 3. Grandfather Frost has arrived... - “Wait” will kiss someone.
  • 4. The chimes struck twelve... - It’s time for a hundred grams and... to bed!
  • 5. We will decorate the Christmas tree together... - Do we need to sleep somewhere in the morning?
  • 6. The year of the Horse has come... - Let's ride,... laugh...

The answers are compared, and those who have the funniest and most original ones receive a prize Christmas tree.

Games for the New Year: “It was my ball!!!”

One representative per team participates in this competition. They are given one New Year's inflatable ball, which is tied to the left leg of the participants. At the leader's command, they must try to crush the opponent's ball with their right foot. It is recommended to play in indoor shoes (participants wearing stiletto heels or canvas boots are not allowed to participate in the competition!). The winner is the one who “bursts” the opponent’s ball with his foot faster. You can use everyone one by one, counting the winning points.

New Year's family games: "Who will jump into the New Year better."

We invite participants to jump into the New Year. To do this, teams are paired up, one from each, taking into account age and height. Participants stand in one line and jump. The winner is the one who jumps the farthest. It’s not worth continuing the competition for a long time - the neighbors below may “not like it.”

Dance competitions for the New Year: “Competition for the best dancer.”

The participants of each fun team are divided into pairs. They have a difficult dance ahead of them. A newspaper is placed under each couple's feet and the music is turned on. Participants need to dance in such a way as not to step over the edge of the newspaper. Then the task becomes more complicated - the newspaper is folded in half and the couples need to dance on these halves. Then we fold the newspaper again, and again... until there is only one pair left that can be held on a small piece of newspaper paper.

Next, the New Year's scenario for adults and children involves a dance disco, awarding the winners with symbolic prizes, and maybe a comic punishment of the losers - at your discretion. The fun New Year's party for adults and children continues! After the holiday fatigue finally wears off the kids, the adults can continue!

And a little more about how unexpectedly funny a New Year’s holiday scenario can be:

The most fabulous holiday of the year is just around the corner, which means it’s time to think about entertainment: games and competitions for children and adults. Perhaps the New Year is the most family holiday, when all family members get together to share the joys of the outgoing year, remember what good things happened to them and dream about what will happen in the coming year.

Of course, the menu and setting of the New Year's table are very important points, but if you are planning a fun New Year, then you can't do without entertainment! We have prepared for you 20 of the best New Year's games that will appeal not only to children, but also to adults.

#1 Guess how much

For this competition you will have to prepare in advance. You will need a container into which a number of identical items will be placed (for example, a basket of tangerines). The container should be in the most visible place so that each of the guests can take a good look and evaluate it. The task of each guest is to guess how many items are in the container. You will also need to prepare a box where each guest will throw a piece of paper with their guess and signature. The one who indicates the number closest to the result wins.

#2 Memories

The game is suitable for children from 6 years old. You will need from 10 to 20 various items. All participants are called to the table on which the objects are laid out and carefully study them for one minute. You can only study with your eyes. Then the items are covered with a towel, and participants are given a piece of paper and a pen. The task of each player is to write as many items as possible from those that were on the table.

#3 Sticker Stalker

The game is suitable for a large company. At the beginning of the holiday, each participant in the event is given 10 sticker tags, which he must paste to other guests throughout the evening. The main condition: the one to whom you are going to attach the tag must not suspect anything. If you are unlucky and the victim discovers your plans, then you become the victim, and whoever caught you can openly stick one of their tags on you! The winner is the one who gets rid of the tags issued at the beginning of the holiday before the others.

#4 Hot potato with camera

Suitable for a large company. All guests must gather in one place. To the music, everyone passes a camera to their neighbor. At the moment when the music stops, the one in whose hands the camera is must take a funny selfie and leave the game. The one whose camera it is wins, because now you have a whole bunch of funny photos of your friends!

#5 Hurry up to take off your hat

Ideal for large companies. The essence of the game is that each guest must have a hat. It is better to prepare in advance and buy (make) paper caps for each guest. The essence of the game is that at the beginning of the evening everyone puts on their caps together. The party hat must be removed, but this must not be done before the host (host of the party) removes the hat. You will take off your hat somewhere in the middle of the evening. Attentive guests will notice, but the one who is busy telling his interesting stories from last year will most likely become a loser, because he will be the last one to take off his hat, if at all!

#6 Who Am I?

Great game for the whole family. Each player is given cards on which are written the names of celebrities, fairy-tale characters, writers or other famous people in your community. Each participant cannot read their card, but must stick it on their forehead. By asking leading questions to your neighbor, to which he can only answer “Yes” or “No,” you need to determine who you are according to the inscription on the card.

#7 Explain to me

Game for all age groups. You will have to prepare in advance. You will need several in simple words and a stopwatch. Participants must split into pairs. Each pair is given a piece of paper with words. One person from the couple reads the words and tries to explain them to his partner without using the name of this word and cognates. Each team has a minute to talk about everything. The winner is the one who can explain the most words in a minute.

#8 Damaged phone, only pictures

Suitable for all age groups. You will need several participants (at least 5-7 people). Each person is given a piece of paper and a pen. On command, each participant writes a sentence on their own piece of paper. Anything that comes to his mind. When the sentences are written, the sheet is given to the neighbor on the left. Now in front of you is a sheet of paper on which your neighbor’s proposal is written. Your task is to illustrate this proposal. When everything is ready, you wrap the proposal so that the neighbor on the left receives a piece of paper with only your drawing. Now the task is to describe in words what you see in the picture. This is repeated until the sheet with your first sentence is returned to you. Upon completion, you will have an equal number of sheets with mind-blowing stories in pictures and descriptions! It's funny to read what was in the first sentence and how the thought developed!

#9 Crocodile

Of course, you shouldn’t ignore the game “Crocodile”. For those who don’t know or don’t remember the rules: the essence of the game is that one person explains to others the word hidden for him using gestures. It would be symbolic to only wish for words related to New Year’s themes. In addition, if only people who know each other well will be present at the holiday, you can make up whole life situations that all participants in the event are well aware of. For example, if you are celebrating the New Year with work colleagues, it is quite logical to think of some event that is significant for you, say, the celebration of last year’s corporate party, when Irina Petrovna danced a striptease perfectly.

#10 Guess the word

Another one exciting game for New Year's Eve, in which all guests will be able to take part. The essence of the game is that guests need to guess a word or name only by consonants. You will have to prepare in advance by choosing a topic and preparing several word options.

Topic: New Year's films

Tasks: krnvlnnch (carnival night); rnsdb (irony of fate); mrzk (Morozko); lklhmt (shaggy Christmas trees); dndm (home alone), etc.

#11 Draw what I described

The game is suitable for both children and adults. Players need to split into pairs. A pair of players sits with their backs to each other. One player from the pair is asked to take one thing out of an opaque bag. After this, his task is to explain to his partner as clearly as possible what he is holding in his hands. At the same time, you cannot name a thing, just as you cannot use words with the same root.

#12 Truth and lies

Another New Year's game that both adults and children can play. So, one of the players tells two truths about himself and one lie. The task of everyone else is to guess which of what was said is a lie. The turn goes to the one who guessed the lie first.

#13 Things that...

Suitable for a large company. All participants are asked to write on a piece of paper some things that make them feel or do something. For example, things that make me smile/happy/sad, etc. After everyone has written an answer, the papers are collected and the answers are read aloud. Now the task of each player is to guess whose answer was read out.

#14 Racing with snowflakes

If a large number of children are expected at the New Year's party, then you should pay attention to outdoor games. Divide the guys into teams, each team is given a large paper snowflake. The essence of the game is to carry a snowflake on your head to a certain place, and then pass it on to another participant. The team that completes the task faster wins. When a snowflake lies on your head, you cannot touch it with your hands.

#15 Cookies on the face

An excellent game not only for children, but also for adults. You'll need cookies, so prepare ahead of time. A cookie is placed on each participant's forehead. The goal is to move the cookie into your mouth without using your hands.

#16 New Year's fishing

Very entertaining game for participants of all ages. You will need Christmas candy canes. One lollipop is tied to a stick, and the rest are placed on the table so that the curved part extends beyond the table. The participants' task is to use a lollipop tied to a stick to collect the rest of the lollipops without using their hands. Participants hold the lollipop stick in their teeth.

#17 Snowball fight

Ideal entertainment for the whole family. You will need ping pong or tennis balls, plastic cups, paper straws and a long table. Plastic cups are glued to one of the edges of the table (with tape). At the other end there are players whose task is to roll the balls into plastic cups. Only air can be used! Players blow through paper tubes onto the balls, trying to direct them in the desired direction. If the ball falls, you will have to start over. The one who can do it faster wins.

#18 New Year's balance

Another active team game. Participants must be divided into teams of two. You will need a cylinder made of thick cardboard and a long stick or ruler. The cardboard cylinder is placed vertically on the table, with a ruler placed on top. The task of each team is to place as many New Year's balls on the line as possible so as not to upset the balance. You will have to work harmoniously, because if you hang the ball on only one side, the balance will be disrupted!

#19 Unwrap the gift

You can keep guests busy at your New Year's party with another entertaining competition: who can unpack a gift the fastest. You will have to prepare a well-wrapped gift and ski gloves in advance. The task of the participants is to open the gift while wearing ski gloves. The smaller the box, the more interesting!

#20 Find the word

Another game that kids will love. Cards with letters need to be prepared in advance, and participants must make up as many words as possible from these cards. You can write, for example, 10-12 New Year-themed words, and then cut the words into letters, mix them and the competition is ready. Alternatively, you can simply write words on a piece of paper, mixing the letters, and the participants must guess what the word is (for example, nikvegos - snowman).

In general, there are countless ideas for New Year's competitions and games. You can use our selection, or you can use your imagination and give yourself and your guests an unforgettable evening!

Have you already started preparing competitions for the New Year 2020? Yesterday I decided to look for various games and competitions for the New Year, and found many interesting ones that will help us enter the Year of the Rat cheerfully and joyfully.

How to prepare for competitions and games: fun and interesting competitions for the New Year will help save even traditional New Year's family gatherings in the company of a TV, not to mention a party for a cheerful company. However, it is best to prepare a little.

  1. Make a plan for games and competitions. A group of adults will need to eat, raise their glasses to the New Year, and dance, so game program should be carefully woven into the natural flow of the party.
  2. Prepare your props. Having decided what you will play at home for the New Year, make a list of what you will need for this or that competition. It's best to organize props and prizes into themed competitions (I use small gift bags for this).
  3. Stock up on prizes. People really like to receive small funny prizes - candies, chocolates, cute New Year's toys. It’s better to take extra prizes.
  4. It is better to make auxiliary materials on cards - if you need to stock up on some phrases, scripts and texts, then write or print them on regular cards in advance, this is much more convenient than using one large script.
  5. Select music, identify your helpers, prepare a place for games.

Collection of competitions and games

"Wishes"

The simplest New Year's games and all sorts of competitions where guests don’t have to do anything - for example, they can be asked to burst balloons with wishes inside.

You need to prepare in advance a large bunch of balloons (their number should be greater than the number of guests, just in case), inside which notes with wishes are inserted. For example, you can give a guest scissors and invite him to cut off the ball he likes, and then read it aloud to all the guests - such a simple but cute entertainment helps the company have fun and unite.

"Tsiferki"

New Year's games and competitions based on the question-and-answer model always receive a lot of applause. It’s no wonder - everyone loves to laugh, but there are no difficulties.

So, the host hands out small pieces of paper and pens to the guests, and invites them to write down their favorite number (or any other number that comes to mind). If you wish, you can record some sequence and play several circles. When all the guests have completed the task, the presenter says that now everyone present will be able to learn more about each other - he will ask questions, and the guests will answer them, holding up a piece of paper with the numbers written down, and loudly announcing the answer.

It is best to choose simple questions - how old is this or that guest, how many times a day does he eat, how much does he weigh, how many times has he stayed for a second year, and so on.

"Not a word of truth"

My favorite pastimes are funny competitions for the New Year. Of course, for a group of pensioners you will need to choose something more decent, but in your circle you can always have fun - for example, by playing the game “Not a Word of the Truth”.

The presenter will need to prepare in advance many New Year's questions, such as these:
  • What tree is traditionally decorated for the holiday?
  • What film in our country symbolizes the New Year?
  • What is customary to launch into the sky on New Year's Eve?
  • who is sculpted from snow in winter?
  • who on TV addresses Russians with a New Year's speech?
  • The outgoing year is the year of whom according to the Chinese calendar?
It’s better to write down more questions, you can ask about New Year’s traditions different countries, or the habits of guests. During the game, the host will have to quickly and cheerfully ask his questions, and the guests will answer, without saying a word of the truth.

The one who makes a mistake and answers truthfully, based on the results of the game, can read poetry, sing a song or fulfill various wishes - you can use wishes to play forfeits, for example, the loser needs to put several slices of tangerine in both cheeks and say something like “I’m a hamster and I eat grain, don’t touch it - it’s mine, and whoever takes it will be finished!”. Bursts of laughter are guaranteed - both during the game and during the “punishment” of the losing participant.

"Accurate shooter"

As entertainment for the New Year 2020, you can play snipers. It’s most fun to play this game when the participants are already a little tipsy - and coordination becomes more free, and there is less constraint, and it’s a little more difficult to hit the target.

The essence of the game is as follows - the guests are divided into two teams, and in turn each player throws “snowballs” into a bucket. The bucket is placed at a distance of five to seven meters from the players; you can use lumps of cotton wool, crumpled paper as “snowballs,” or just take a couple of sets of simple New Year’s plastic balls, which are sold in any supermarket.

I decided to improve this game for a New Year's party for adults and use children's basketball hoops as a “goal” - hitting them with a soft ball of cotton wool is even more difficult than hitting a bucket.

"New Year decoration"

Of course, New Year's competitions for adults can be less sporting.

All those present should be divided into teams of 5-6 people (depending on the number of guests at your party). The teams are given the task of building a New Year's ball. For production, you can only use toiletries, accessories and jewelry that the team members are wearing. The team that makes the brightest and most beautiful ball wins.

By the way, a little life hack- in every company there are people who do not actively participate in competitions and try to just sit out, which is why quite a lot of time is spent on persuasion. So, appoint them to the jury - you can make them score cards in advance, offer them to make a short speech into an improvised microphone. This way they will be simultaneously involved in the general fun, and at the same time they will not have to be persuaded and pulled out from the table.

And of course, the sight of my own mother, who soulfully speaks into a glass of champagne instead of a microphone about how grateful she is to Mikhalkov and the Film Academy for the opportunity to see the ice battle in her own living room is priceless. :))

"Come, forest deer"

By the way, if you are selecting competitions for a corporate event for the New Year or for a party that will not take place in a city apartment, then be sure to play Santa with his reindeer. There is no need to divide the guests into teams; it is enough to simply invite them to split into pairs.

Each pair has a “reindeer” and a “Santa” (you can give one improvised antlers, and the other Santa hats - both are sold for mere pennies in a fixed price store before the new year).

The “deer” needs to be blindfolded and made into a harness - no need to split hairs, a simple clothesline or cord that wraps around the belt will do. The reins are given to Santa, who stands behind his “reindeer.” A track is built from the pins, the leader gives a signal and the competition begins. Those participants who reach the finish line earlier than others and do not knock down the pins win. Instead of skittles, you can use empty bottles, cardboard drink cups or paper cones (we made them in the shape of Christmas trees, it was very cute).

"Collective Letter"

When it comes to New Year's games at the table, I always remember how my parents and friends wrote a collective New Year's greetings for everyone present. You can use a ready-made text (as in the image), you can create your own - the main thing is that it should not contain adjectives - the guests should call them.

The host invites the guests to congratulate each other and say big and beautiful toast- and waves the postcard on which he has already written a congratulation. Only he didn’t have enough adjectives, and the guests must suggest them. Everyone randomly offers adjectives related to winter, New Year and holiday, and the presenter writes them down and then reads out the result - the text turns out to be very funny!

"Turnip: New Year's version"

If you love New Year's competitions for the whole family, then turnip is what you need!

So, you need to prepare the participants - they need to match the number of characters in the fairy tale. Each participant gets a role in an impromptu performance. It's simple, the participant needs to remember the key phrase and movement that he must act out when mentioning himself.
  1. The turnip will slap its knees and then clap its hands with the exclamation “Both-on!”
  2. Grandfather rubs his palms and grunts, “Yes, sir!”
  3. The grandmother swings her fist at the grandfather and says, “I would have killed him!”
  4. The granddaughter dances and sings “I’m ready!” in a high voice (when men play this role, it turns out just great).
  5. The bug itches and complains of fleas.
  6. The cat wags its tail and mannerly drawls, “And I’m on my own.”
  7. The mouse sadly shrugs its shoulders and says, “We’ve finished the game!”
After everyone has tried themselves in a new role, the presenter reads the text of the fairy tale (no changes here), and the actors act out their role whenever they hear about themselves. The grandfather planted (rubs his hands and grunts) a turnip (clap-clap, both of them!) and further according to the text. Believe me, there will be enough bursts of laughter, especially when the fairy tale comes to the end, and the presenter will list all the participants in turn.

"Strictly in alphabetical order"

During one of the pauses, the presenter takes the floor and reminds everyone present that the New Year’s celebration is just beginning, but it’s already difficult to remember the alphabet. In this connection, the presenter suggests filling the glasses and raising them, but strictly in alphabetical order.

Each guest must make a short toast to his letter of the alphabet. The first one starts with the letter a, the second one should start with the letter b, and so on. Toasts should be simple:
  1. A It is absolutely necessary to drink to happiness in the new year!
  2. B Let's go healthy in the new year!
  3. IN Let's drink to the old year!
  4. E If we don’t get drunk, we’ll have to eat!
The task for everyone present is to make toasts for each letter of the alphabet, and then choose the winner - the one who came up with best toast, which is worth a drink!

"Bunnies"

If you want to pick up outdoor games for the New Year 2020, play bunny. On New Year's Eve, it is best to play this game at home when there are many guests - it is suitable for a group of friends.

Everyone stands in a circle and holds hands, the leader walks around all the players in a circle and whispers to everyone the names of two animals - a wolf and a bunny, a fox and a bunny, and so on. Then he explains the essence of the game - when the presenter says the name of the animal out loud, the person for whom it was given crouches, and his neighbors on the left and right, on the contrary, pull him up, not allowing him to sit down. You need to play at a good pace so that the participants get into a frenzy.

The main joke of this action is that absolutely all players have a second animal - a bunny. Therefore, after people have taken turns squatting to the names of other animals, the leader says “Bunny!”, and the whole circle suddenly tries to sit down (trying to overcome the possible resistance of neighbors, as was the case with other animals).

Naturally, everyone starts laughing, and a pile of small things gathers on the floor!

"News from the New Year"

A great competition that you can play without leaving the table.

The presenter will need to prepare cards on which unrelated words and concepts will be written - five or six words, no more needed. Each participant receives a card and must quickly come up with the hottest news from the New Year's issue, using all the words from the card. What to write on cards? Any set of words.
  • China, dumplings, roses, Olympics, lilac.
  • Santa Claus, wheel, eraser, north, bag.
  • New Year, fan, tights, pan, scabies.
  • Santa Claus, rat, herring, stapler, barrier.
  • Nettle, tinsel, Kirkorov, fishing rod, plane.
  • Football, shovel, snow, Snow Maiden, tangerines.
  • Snowman, beard, tights, bicycle, school.
  • Winter, zoo, washing, boa constrictor, rug.
How to come up with news? Set an example for your guests by showing them that all words need to be used, and the stranger the news, the more interesting it is.

Well, for example, from the last example I gave, you can build something like this: “In the Moscow Zoo, during winter washing, a rug was discovered in a boa constrictor.” There will be a reason to be surprised, and laugh, and drink to the fact that all the news in the new 2020 will be just as positive.

"We're jumping into the New Year"

As a family, we often organize jumping as an entertainment for the New Year, and 2020 will not be an exception, I’m sure - this is already a kind of tradition.

So, how it happens: after drinking for the outgoing year, the presenter brings markers and pencils (the brighter the better) and a large sheet of paper (Whatman paper A0-A1) and invites everyone present not just to enter the new year, but to jump - so that it passes dynamically, energetically and brightly!

And for all your wishes to come true, you need to draw them. On a large sheet of paper, everyone draws their desires - some manage to draw several miniatures, for others it is enough to sketch what they want. By the time the president speaks, the drawing is usually completed or the finishing touches are remaining. After the president’s speech, the presenter invites everyone to join hands, count out the chimes in unison, and solemnly jump into the New Year and into the success of their own desires!

By the way, my mother and I usually save the sheet, and next year we check who has achieved what - also a topic for table conversation, by the way.

"The best"

Good New Year's entertainment can happen without a host. Good way keep the guests busy - give them unique tasks, but few people want to just compete, right?

Therefore, we do the following - we hang sweets or small gifts on the Christmas tree. It is best to opt for figured chocolate or other sweet Christmas tree decorations. We provide each with a note to whom the gift is intended, but we write not names, but some definitions that the guests will have to think about and get to know each other better (ideal when there are newcomers who need to join the existing company).

What to write on labels:

  1. The owner of the brownest eyes.
  2. The best high jumper.
  3. To the biggest hooligan (here you will have to tell everyone about your hooliganism in childhood).
  4. The owner of the best tan.
  5. The owner of the highest heels.
  6. The owner of the most dangerous job.
  7. A couple whose number of buttons on their clothes is 10.
  8. To the one who is wearing more yellow today.
I think you understand the main message. Guests will independently begin to find out who vacationed where, who has a brighter tan, measure the length of their heels and discuss work.

"Song from a Hat"

By the way, almost all New Year's competitions at the table involve playing with a hat - some notes are thrown into the hat in advance, and then they are pulled out and carried out tasks for relatives or colleagues.

For the New Year 2020, with our family, we will play a popular variation of this game with songs. You need to scribble notes with winter and New Year's words into the hat, each guest blindly takes a note out of the hat and sings a song in which this word appears.

By the way, you will be able to have fun even if during the feast you forget all the songs - most likely, your family, like my relatives, will have a great idea to compose a small song on the go to the most popular tune, or somehow remake one from famous New Year's songs of past years.

By the way, this game is also suitable for a small company of any age - of course, a schoolchild is unlikely to recognize Soviet songs, but the result will be funny, and different age groups will be able to get closer while playing - after all, cool New Year's competitions unite!

"Mittens"

Naturally, New Year's competitions for young people are not complete without flirting - why not help friends get closer?

So, the girls put on robes or shirts, and the guys are given thick winter mittens. The essence of the competition is to quickly button up the girls' shirts so that they don't freeze!

By the way, my friends, who love various New Year's competitions for teenagers and young people, wanted to do this competition in reverse - freeing the girls from their shirts, however, they were forced to disqualify the participant - it turns out that even with mittens it is convenient to pull the hem of the shirt and tear off all the buttons at once. Therefore, it is better to fasten it; it is not easy to do this in mittens.

"Let's draw Santa Claus"

Creative New Year competitions for corporate parties are a great opportunity to have fun.

So, holes are made for the hands in a thick sheet of cardboard. We give the players tassels, they must stick their hands into the holes and portray Santa Claus. At this moment they cannot see what they are drawing.

At work, you can divide the team into male and female teams, and give one the task of portraying the Snow Maiden, and the other - Grandfather Frost. The winner is the team whose result is most similar to a fairy-tale character.

By the way, if you are selecting competitions for a New Year's corporate party, do not forget to find funny music - I use cuts from Soviet children's cartoons for New Year's competitions 2020, this usually evokes the warmest emotions.

"We distribute roles"

Begin fun competitions For the New Year, your family can enjoy this kind of entertainment.

Prepare more attributes of fairy-tale New Year's characters, put notes with roles in empty Kinder capsules (you can simply wrap them in wrapping paper like candy) and start games at the table for the New Year with an offer to find out who still runs the show.

Everyone present must play their part. These could be snowflakes, bunnies, squirrels, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, the Snow Queen, an overseas guest - Santa Claus and his reindeer. Provide small attributes to all guests that will be relevant to their role that night - e.g. snow queen a crown is suitable, Santa Claus can loudly knock with his elegant staff, and a company of oversized bunnie boys with white ears will decorate any New Year's photo.

Believe me, New Year's table games will take on a new color as soon as Grandma Winter or Mikhailo Potapych, who specially woke up for New Year's competitions and New Year's dances, starts making a toast.

"Photo tests"

What are some cool competitions for the New Year without photos?

Make an area for photography and collect some props in this corner - guests will be able to take pictures in different images, and then you can arrange photo tests. So, you will need to determine who is suitable for the role:
  • the most decrepit snowflake;
  • the sleepiest guest;
  • the most cheerful Baba Yaga;
  • the hungriest Santa Claus;
  • the most generous Santa Claus;
  • the kindest Santa Claus;
  • the most beautiful Snow Maiden;
  • the most overfed guest;
  • the most cheerful guest;
  • the most cunning Baba Yaga;
  • the evil Kashchei himself;
  • the strongest hero;
  • the most capricious princess;
  • the biggest snowflake;
  • and so on…
By the way, you can hold this competition a little differently - stock up on props, and invite guests to draw, without looking, the role in which they will be photographed, and the rest of the participants should help with advice and deeds to better embody the image. You can laugh during the process, and when you look at the pictures - fortunately, you can do this in just a few minutes.

"Little things from Grandfather Frost"

Tell your guests this legend about how Santa Claus was walking through the forest with gifts, fell with one foot into a snowdrift and spilled gifts from the bag. The big ones remained in the bag, but the small presents fell out. And you picked them up and now give them to all the guests.

Wrap all kinds of nice little things that you bought in advance in opaque packaging, or you can wrap gifts in small pieces of fabric, like miniature bags, tied with a thick thread or ribbon.

Pleasant little things can include: calendar cards, candles, keychains, pens, flashlights, kinders, liquid soap, magnets.

Every time it surprises with what trepidation guests wait for these gifts... Not only children, but even adults :-)

Well, and finally, be a good magician and predictor, another New Year's entertainment from the site:

Now you know how my holiday will go, and what games you will have for New Year's corporate party or a house party? Share your ideas, because it’s better to prepare table games for the New Year and interesting competitions in advance, and 2020 is just around the corner!

Interesting competitions help to diversify New Year's Eve, make it festive and fun. We offer entertainment options suitable for adults, children and young people.

For the whole family

Some New Year's competitions are suitable for guests of different age categories. Their goal is to unite family and friends for a common fun activity.

Remembering pleasant events

Prepare a symbolic baton - any thing to pass on to each other.

The presenter, with a “stick” in his hands, talks about the best event that happened in the past year and passes the baton to the participants of the evening. Those who fail to remember the joyful event are awarded the "Fortune's Favorite - 2019" award.

The festive relay race is a spiritual competition that allows you to defuse an awkward situation and spend the outgoing year with gratitude.

Game "Pig"

A fun activity suitable for a noisy company. At the beginning of the competition, the presenter secretly names an animal to the participants. Then the guests stand in a circle and join hands.

Now the presenter says the names of the animals out loud. The one whose animal was named quickly sits down. Neighbors, right and left, are trying to stop him.

When the names of the animals are pronounced, the presenter declares: “We’ve trained, now we’re playing at full strength,” and again secretly gives the players the names of the animals. True, now it is the same for everyone - a piglet.

As a result, the guests, having heard the cherished word, simultaneously sit down abruptly and cannot stand on their feet. Entertainment perfectly improves the mood and is suitable for the middle of a festive evening.

Get a wish

The competition will require preliminary preparation. Wishes for guests are written in advance on paper and placed in balloons. The names of the parts are indicated separately on the pieces of paper. human body(chin, foot, jaw, etc.) and put notes in the hat.

At the party, those gathered take their favorite balloons with wishes. To read the note, you will have to burst the balloon using the body part indicated on the sticker he pulled out of his headdress.

Charging Santa Claus

A game for a large number of players. Santa Claus or a guest in a suit performs exercises. The rules are simple: “Guests must repeat the movements, but vice versa. If the “grandfather” leans to the right, the rest - to the left, etc. You can show an example, together with the presenter.

Anyone who makes just one wrong move is eliminated. The pace gradually becomes faster and Santa Claus tries to confuse the participants.

As a result, players are awarded places and awards with funny titles are presented.

Best Actor

The competition is an excellent opportunity for guests to demonstrate their acting skills by playing the symbol of the coming year - a pig. Everyone has their own image - “sad little pig”, “mysterious Khavronya”, “disgruntled pig”, etc. Guests are given pig ears and snouts prepared in advance. Some of the invitees are given the honorable mission of judging the “actors” as a jury.

Having started the competition, guests communicate with each other in the manner assigned to them. After the appointed time, the “jury members” determine the winner by secret ballot. The most artistic guest, in a solemn atmosphere, receives an Oscar.

Entertainment for children

Kids should also have fun at the New Year's party. Offer them active and fun competitions.

Snowball game

Participants are divided into two teams. They make snowballs from old newspapers and compete to see who is the most accurate. Members of both teams are placed one behind the other. On the floor, colored tape marks where you can’t step.

Baskets are installed behind the line, where participants will throw “snow shells”. Children take turns throwing snowballs, and the team that hits the most times wins.

Competition "balls"

A table is placed in the center of the hall, especially for the competition. A light ball is placed in the middle of it. Participants stand at different ends of the table - two people. They need to blow on the ball, moving it towards the opponent.

The competition lasts until the goal is achieved. The winner receives an honorary prize. The competition can also be a team competition, where several guys participate, taking turns sending balls to the opponent.

We decorate the Christmas tree

For the competition, prepare a couple of small real or artificial Christmas trees. There is an option, take two kids and make them New Year's trees.

Participants are divided into two groups and take plastic New Year's toys on strings. The goal is to decorate the Christmas trees with the largest number of New Year's attributes in 2 minutes.

To complicate the task, “Christmas trees” are installed a couple of meters from the participants. Children, one after another, run up to the “tree” to hang the decoration on it.

New Year's tinsel

Two teams take part in the competition. They stand opposite each other, and each of the guys is given tinsel in their hands.

The competition takes place to the accompaniment of a cheerful holiday song. The first team member wraps tinsel around the hand of the child next to him. And so - along the chain.

The last player’s task is to run up to the first and tie his hand with tinsel. When everything is done, the team raises their hands. The children who complete the task first are recognized as winners and receive prizes.

Table competitions

For those who want to have fun without leaving the New Year's table, many competitions have also been invented. They are able to provide those gathered with a wonderful mood without requiring them to waste their energy.

Let's remember the alphabet

The Alphabet is a competition suitable for that part of the party when the guests have had time to try the treats and festive drinks and are ready to take an active part in the event. Champagne-filled glasses and a positive attitude from the participants will come in handy.

The host complains that during the party he forgot the alphabet. Dear guests can help you remember the letters. They take turns making festive toasts.

The first one's words begin with the letter "A". The second one makes a speech with “B”, etc. For example:

  • “Shouldn’t we raise our glasses to the happiness of those gathered?”
  • “Be happy in the coming 2019!”,
  • “I wish everyone good health, good luck and more money.”

The participant who makes the most interesting and sincere wish wins.

Concert from a hat

For the competition, write in advance on notepads the words of the New Year theme (blizzard, snowman, Santa Claus, piece of ice, etc.). These pieces of paper are put into a “magic” Santa Claus hat.

Everyone takes out a note and sings a song with the given word. Good idea– include an arrangement found on the Internet.

Gift bag

For the contest you will need a bag filled with holiday favors. The presenter turns to the person sitting to his right: “I’ve been meaning to give it for a long time, but I couldn’t…”. And he gives a funny reason - “he was kidnapped by aliens”, “greed got in the way”, etc.

Afterwards, without peeking, he takes a gift out of the bag and hands it over. The person who receives the item takes the package in his hands and says similar words to the neighbor on the right. The funnier the reason that prevented you from giving a gift earlier, the better.

For adults

Adult entertainment at a New Year's party often involves drinking alcohol. But for those who prefer to have fun without alcoholic drinks, many wonderful competitions have been invented.

Drink - have a bite

Those invited are given two small sheets of paper. The word “drink” is written on the first one, and the word “snack” is written on the second one. Each guest adds a phrase, for example - “Drink from a vase”, “snack with pepper.” Afterwards, the notes are hidden in two caps and taken out without looking, one by one.

Guess who?

New Year's cocktail

One of the guests is blindfolded with thick cloth. Then, another participant in the competition prepares a drink from what is on the festive table. The potion is given to the guest blindfolded to drink. His task is to guess what his holiday cocktail is made from.

Those gathered record how many ingredients have been guessed. “Masha – 4 out of 7”, etc. The guest who guesses the largest number of components wins.

New Year's lottery

A win-win lottery will also delight those gathered at the festive table. Prepare in advance the number of gifts corresponding to the number of guests. Or better yet, two or three more.

You will also need lottery tickets for the competition. Interesting idea– take a picture of a pig from the Internet, print copies and draw serial numbers on them. Hand them over to your party guests upon entering.

There is another option - invite everyone to the center of the room and give them a task - to sing a New Year's song, read a poem, remember an interesting joke. The reward is the ability to put your hand into a box of lottery tickets and get one.

Any interesting souvenir is suitable as a prize - ginger cookies, chocolate in a festive wrapper, a figurine of the symbol of the year. It would be nice to prepare a small funny poem for the presentation of the prize. For example: “You will be glad to receive gifts from fate - take a bar of chocolate.”

Entertainment for schoolchildren

It is possible to prepare interesting competitions for children of all ages. Both first-graders and high school students will rejoice at the opportunity to have fun.

Don't miss the place

An ageless competition is a game with chairs, interesting for both children and adults.

During the competition, schoolchildren run around them to a festive tune. After the music stops playing, they must immediately take the empty seats. The child is left without a chair - his participation in the competition ends.

Leap into the future

The tradition of jumping from a chair on New Year's Eve came from Germany. According to her, the further the guest jumps, the better he will live in the New Year. True, you should be careful, which is why some refuse the attribute in the form of a chair. The winner is the guest who jumped the farthest.

Shoulder to shoulder

Participants are divided into two people. A festive tune comes on and the children dance and jump to it. As a result, the couples are separated and the participants “mix with each other.”

The music stops and the host of the competition says: “shoulder to shoulder!” At a signal, children from pairs run up to each other and touch their shoulders. The last person to find a partner stops participating in the competition. Then the presenter sets another task: “nose to nose”, “back to back, etc.”

The competition is conducted in a different way. You will need New Year's themed props - cut out snowflakes, Christmas trees, candies in holiday wrapping, etc. Place them in the room where you are celebrating the holiday. The presenter gives the signal: “Christmas tree to Christmas tree,” and the children each take a Christmas tree and run up to their pair.

Entertainment for young people

Young people also love New Year's competitions. Below are a few ideas on how to have fun for people in this age category.

Unload the Christmas tree

Take two guests and blindfold them. Their task is to remove toys and candies from Christmas trees. The New Year's tree will be other invitees, placed one after another. New Year's attributes are hung on them using ordinary clothespins.

Volunteers are given boxes in their hands and, blindfolded, are led from different sides to an impromptu “Christmas tree”. At the leader’s command, they begin to unload the Christmas trees and put toys with candies into the box.

When the guests meet each other, the competition is over. The participant who collects the most holiday attributes wins.

Firecrackers for girls

At the very beginning of the evening, male guests are given firecrackers. When the guests have gathered, the rules of the competition are announced. On New Year's Eve, the guys, one by one, explode “shells.” And the girls’ task is to immediately jump into the arms of the young man standing next to them.

The girl, who forgot to jump on her hands or was confused, carries out the task of the celebrants.

Pass the tangerine

For the competition, participants are divided into two groups and stand one after another. The presenter’s task is to prepare in advance two large cups of washed tangerines and two more empty ones. The guest standing first must grab the tangerine with his teeth and pass it to another participant without using his hands. He also takes it with his teeth and gives it further.

The one who stands last puts the fruit on the plate. The winners are the team members who collect the most tangerines within the agreed time.

Competitions for corporate events

At work, New Year's entertainment can also be both table-based and active.

Decorating the Christmas tree

The guests are given the task of decorating the Christmas tree blindfolded. We need to find the New Year's tree. The host of the competition places those who wish to do so in the center of the room and gives them a toy each. Their eyes are covered with a bandage and rotated several times.

The man walks forward all the way. When he meets an object or another participant on the way, he hangs a decoration on this “Christmas tree”.

The winner is the one who managed to hang the toy on a real Christmas tree. The prize for second place goes to the player who finds the most original “tree” for his decoration.

Dancing dancing

Prepare several musical selections of different topics in advance. At the beginning of the competition, participants are divided into pairs. Each moves to the music, but it does not match the nature of the dance.

For example, the presenter says: “Couple number one is slow dancing.” And it sounds like “Lezginka”. It will be original if you give the participants the task of dancing in old forgotten genres - waltz, paso doble.

Solemn oath

Guests are given pieces of paper where they must write three things they must do in the new year - skydive, go to the mountains, join a gym, etc.

The notes are put into a headdress and mixed. Participants randomly pull out notes with promises and read aloud what they got. Ask the person who reads the promise to guess who wrote it.

Fun activities

There are competitions where each of the guests will have to show resourcefulness and artistry. Their goal is to amuse guests and make themselves happy.

Game of Crocodile

For the competition, prepare stickers in advance where you write the names of famous paintings about New Year and Christmas - “Sorcerers”, “Home Alone”, “Irony of Fate”, etc.

One of the participants takes out any sticker and pantomimes its plot. The task of the others is to understand what picture he has in mind. The first one to guess also takes out a piece of paper and depicts a movie. Based on the results of the competition, the presenter awards the most artistic player a reward.

"The coolest"

Men participate in the game - about five people. The host puts boiled eggs in the cup, in accordance with the number of characters, and says that one of them is raw. Participants take turns hitting them on their foreheads.

The competition turns out to be exciting, and gradually the tension between the guests grows. Nobody wants to get dirty with a raw egg.

Frozen T-shirt

For the competition, prepare three voluminous men's T-shirts. They need to be rolled up in advance and left in the freezer. Select three male participants for the evening. They are given a difficult task - to put on the T-shirts. The one who completes it first wins.

Read lips

Two competitors put on headphones, where fairly loud music is playing. Players should not hear each other. One receives cards with questions. For example: “How much champagne do you need to be happy?”, “What do you put red caviar on?”

The second one’s task is to understand what is being asked and answer. Then the cards with questions end up in the hands of others. The winner is the participant who answers the maximum number of questions asked.

Quiet entertainment

Not everyone likes active, noisy competitions. If guests prefer to celebrate the New Year in a relaxed atmosphere, prepare competitions that suit their temperament.

New Year's fortune telling

The next fun will not require guests to leave the table. You will need small sheets of paper and pens. Those gathered write a positive prediction on stickers. They are folded and placed in a magic bag.

Then the host distributes new pieces of paper to the guests, where they have to write when the wish comes true. For example: “Very soon everything will come true” or “wait a couple of years.” They are placed in the second bag.

One after another, those gathered pull out stickers from both bags and read aloud the prediction they received. The more original the forecasts, the better.

Christmas story

Another original entertainment is composing New Year's story. For this, guests are given 10-12 stickers on which they will write various words. Half of them should be related to New Year's celebrations, and the other half at their discretion. Afterwards, the stickers are placed in a box and mixed.

The first guest takes out two or three pieces of paper. He says the words: “Somehow on New Year’s Eve...”. And he comes up with the beginning of a story using the words he comes across.

The second guest also pulls out some stickers. He continues the story, adding to it the words that fell to him. A fairy tale is a very interesting and exciting task that guests will not remain indifferent to.

New Year's news

Prepare cards for the game by writing 5 words on them that are far from each other in meaning. For example: “Snow Maiden, bus, parrot, castle, subway.” Guests take turns drawing a card at random. The task is to compose a sensation close in theme to the New Year.

Every word on the card is used. And at the end of the competition, a present is awarded for the most interesting news, and a toast is made to pleasant events in the coming year.

Summary

To prevent guests invited to the New Year's party from getting bored, invite them to take part in competitions. There is suitable entertainment for both adults and children.
