Translations contact official. Money transfers Contact
One of the payment systems that provides services for transferring banknotes to anywhere in the world is CONTACT. It was founded back in 1999, opening up the opportunity for people to transfer funds to their relatives without being tied to bank accounts. Over time, this system has occupied the most respectable niche, guaranteeing its customers speed and reliability of sending and receiving money using a simplified system. If you have not yet encountered Contact and just want to try out its functionality, then we offer an overview of the system’s capabilities and how it works.
The first system for sending transfers to the Russian Federation was CONTACT. Over time, the potential of the resource grew, and the service spread to neighboring countries, and later reached foreign countries. The full owner and operator of the system is the QIWI Group. Two large banks in the country take an active part in the settlement processes of the system: PJSC VTB Bank And PJSC Bank "FC Otkritie".
CONTACT is one of the largest leaders among representatives of monetary systems in Russia and abroad. Contacta has entered into partnership agreements with 900 financial market representatives, including in its representative network more than 500 thousand customer service points located in more than 170 countries around the world.
You can receive Contact system services:
- in branches of many banks;
- through payment terminals;
- in the offices of a partner network of agents;
- by using mobile phone;
- on the CONTACT system page.
Operations on the Contact system
The majority of citizens using the Contact system are of the opinion that this type of transfer is only applicable for sending money from one individual to another. However, this is absolutely not true. The system has a very huge list of services provided, which is several times more functional than Western Union.
Among the available operations:
- sending cash to individuals persons;
- transfer of money to physical accounts and legal persons opened in one of the banks in Russia, Europe, America, Canada, Israel, Vietnam, Turkey, UAE, South Africa, Thailand, New Zealand and Singapore;
- it is possible to replenish plastic cards of international systems;
- payment of obligatory payments in favor of legal entities. persons, the number of which has already exceeded 2.5 thousand.
Note! Thanks to a highly efficient data transmission system, each client can be sure that his transferred money will reach the recipient in the shortest possible time. Thus, a personalized transfer can be received within 15-25 minutes after sending, money is received in the personal account within 24 hours, and credited to the card will occur almost instantly.
Contact is a multi-currency system capable of making transfers in three currencies: rubles, dollars and euros. In addition, it is possible to convert currency, and if money is sent to other countries, the recipient can receive the payment in national currency.
How is money sent?
So, we have already decided that translation can be done in 5 ways. Only you can choose the most suitable and convenient one. And in order to simplify the choice, we offer simple instructions on the process of transferring money using the most popular methods.
Sending money through a bank office or agent
For most customers, the most convenient and reliable way is to contact a customer service point. For convenience, the current list of branches can be found at official page Contact. To do this, it is enough to indicate desired city, and a complete list of addresses and representative offices will be displayed on the screen.
When contacting the office of an authorized representative of the CONTACT system, you only need to have your passport with you. There is no need to fill out any forms; the manager will do all this work. Orally, you tell the operator the Country and city to which you need to send money. He will tell you all the available offices where you can receive payment. The client selects the closest delivery point, after which he names the desired transfer amount and information about the recipient. After the operator enters the received data, the transfer will be generated and the commission for sending it will be determined. The client deposits money into the cash register and receives a receipt on which the transfer number is printed. This unique number, amount and place of issue must be transmitted to the recipient so that he can receive it.
In case of replenishing a card or personal account, it is necessary to provide the manager with the full details of the bank and the recipient's account. In this case, there is no longer any need to provide the transfer number, because the money will automatically be transferred to the recipient’s account.
For reference! At the request of the client, the operator can activate a free SMS notification. Thus, the recipient will be notified that the transfer has arrived at the specified point, and the sender will be aware that the transfer has been safely delivered to the addressee.
Using self-service terminals
To send using the terminal, you will need the same data as when contacting the operator, with the exception of your passport. A list of terminals can also be found on the website. These can be either branded Qiwi devices or partner terminals of various banks. To make a transfer, you need to select the money transfer item in the menu. Among the possible operations you will find sending transfers using the CONTACT system. Clicking on it will take you to the data entry section. You must provide the same information as when contacting the bank office. However, you need to be very careful to avoid mistakes. After all, the slightest inaccuracy in the recipient’s data, and he will be denied the transfer even if he has a unique code. Upon completion of data entry, the client deposits the required amount into a special slot, taking into account the commission, and receives a receipt with the transfer number.
Important! The commission for sending a transfer through a terminal is slightly higher than through a bank branch. It is also worth understanding that different terminals may charge different commissions for their services. So, smallest size rewards will be available when working with branded Qiwi terminals.
Transfer from card to card
This very convenient method of replenishing someone else’s card can only be used by owners of cards issued in Russia. To do this, you visit the system’s website, from where you follow a hyperlink to a special service. The system works similarly to other services for transferring money from card to card and requires entering your own card data (number, first and last name, expiration date and code located on the back of the card) and the card number of the recipient of the money transfer.
After sending, the money is credited to your account literally within a few minutes. In this case, you do not need to disclose any transfer numbers to anyone.
Sending money from mobile
Another simple way to send a transfer using the Contact system is to send money from your mobile phone. Of course, this method is not as popular as the previous ones, because money is transferred directly from a mobile phone account, however, it still works. So, to send a transfer you just need to go to the website of the mobile service operator and in the menu find the money transfer service using the CONTACT system. It is worth noting that the commission will be significant, as for sending a small payment.
Acceptable amount of transfer using the CONTACT system and commission
The Contact system sets very acceptable limits on the size of the transfer and commissions for its services. Thus, the system does not provide for a minimum transfer value. But there is still a maximum:
- When sending funds across the territory of the Russian Federation, a maximum of 500 thousand rubles is set. with a commission of 1%, and in the case of sending an equivalent amount in foreign currency, the rate is within 1-2%;
- sending funds in foreign currency by Russian citizens outside the country is limited to the equivalent of up to 5 thousand dollars per business day;
- for non-residents this value is slightly higher; you can send up to 10 thousand dollars or euros, or up to 350 thousand rubles.
Commissions for sending ruble transfers to neighboring countries are charged in the amount of 1.5-2.5%, while foreign currency transfers require a commission of 1-2.5%. At the same time, some foreign operators provide for sending a transfer, in addition to interest, a fixed payment.
But sending money to foreign countries or back will require a commission of 1-3.5%; the tariff must be clarified directly with the manager of the service point.
Important! In addition to the established restrictions of the system, there are restrictions of the recipient country on sending and receiving transfers. So, when sending money, you need to check with the recipient what amount is allowed in his territory for issuance.
When sending through terminals, the limit is set even lower. Thus, the transfer amount should not exceed 15 thousand rubles, taking into account the commission, and its size will be from 1 to 2% depending on the terminal.
Receiving a transfer
The procedure for receiving a translation is incredibly simple. The client in whose name the transfer was sent goes to a bank branch or agent office with a passport and tells the operator the code received from the sender and the amount of the sent transfer. The manager finds the transfer in the system by code, enters the recipient’s passport data and issues the transfer. There is no fee for issuing a transfer.
Important point! If the transfer was sent in one currency, but is issued only in another currency, for example, national, then the manager will convert the currency and, minus the commission, will issue the required amount. In this case, the commission can reach 2%.

Tariffs for transfers to foreign countries are determined individually for each country, so they must be clarified at the checkout point. The amount of the transfer commission depends on the amount transferred (the larger the amount, the higher the commission percentage). In addition, the cost of the service will be less if the transfer is credited to the account. So, for example, paying out a transfer in the UK in USD/EUR in cash will cost 3%, and crediting it to a bank account through MoneyPolo Transfers will cost 1.8%.
The commission for CONTACT payments to non-CIS countries is established:
- from 1% to 4% of the transfer amount. (The percentage depends on the terms of the system’s contracts with operators and providers.)
- in a fixed amount per payment.
How to send a money transfer contact CONTACT:
- Come to a bank that is convenient for you - a member of the CONTACT system and select the country, city and bank where the Recipient will be able to issue a money transfer.
- Present your identification document.
- A bank employee helps you fill out the documents and assigns a unique number to the transfer.
- Enter the transfer amount and commission.
- You inform the Recipient of the address and name of the bank where he can receive money, as well as the amount and number of the money transfer.
- The money transfer must be paid to the Recipient in full, without deduction of commission, no later than the next day.
How to receive a CONTACT money transfer:
- You receive the following information from the Sender:
- Address of the CONTACT network point where the money transfer will be paid to you.
- Unique transfer number.
- Transfer amount.
- Come to the bank (during opening hours) with an identification document in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the given country.
- You receive the sent amount in full. No commission should be charged to the recipient of funds.
Clients using the CONTACT money transfer system need to know that:
- If there is a grammatical error in the Recipient's last name, you can make the necessary changes. The sender contacts the bank from which the transfer was made and writes an application to make changes to the Recipient’s data. There is no fee for making changes.
- If the Recipient, for any reason, was unable to receive the “Contact” transfer within 30 days from the date of sending, then the money transfer is automatically returned to the Sender’s bank. There is no return fee.
- A transfer that has not been issued can be returned to the Sender before the expiration of 30 days, but for this it is necessary to submit an application to the bank from which the transfer was made. There is no fee for returning a transfer.
- The “Contact” transfer can be sent or received by proxy. A power of attorney executed in the prescribed manner must necessarily stipulate the right to receive money from bank accounts. The power of attorney is notarized or certified by the embassy (consulate). To the power of attorney executed in foreign language, a certified translation is also provided. The power of attorney remains in the bank's cash desk.
