Tver regional branch of the Interregional public organization The “Association of Chemistry Teachers and Teachers of Russia” announces the holding of All-Russian competitions “WORLD OF CHEMISTRY”, “ORIGINAL PROBLEM”, “CHEMICAL GAME LIBRARY”, “CHEMICAL LABORATORY” and invites all interested schoolchildren, teachers and teachers of specialized secondary and higher education institutions educational institutions, students of chemical and pedagogical specialties and areas of training from Russia, as well as near and far abroad, take part in them.

Only original materials not previously published in print or on the Internet, written individually or in collaboration, the content of which does not extend beyond the scope of a high school chemistry course, are accepted for the competition.

(April-May 2016) The purpose of the competition is to popularize the Olympiad movement in chemistry, identify, support and develop gifted students.

The objectives of the Olympiad are:

1) revealing the creative abilities of students;

2) development of a non-standard style of thinking;

3) intensification of extracurricular and extracurricular work in chemistry;

4) search for talented youth and organization of vocational guidance;

5) involving chemistry students in organizing the Olympiad movement in the Tver region;

6) creating conditions for the professional growth of chemistry teachers.

I. The Olympiad is held in three age groups: 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade.

The competition is held in two stages.

II. Dates of the Olympiad:

Second (regional) May 14, 2016 III. Documents required for participation in the Olympiad To participate in the regional stage of the competition, you must send an application for participation to the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad before May 12, 2016. The norm of representation is no more than 3 people. for each age group; total from an educational institution - no more than 9 students. In exceptional cases, in agreement with the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad, the rate of representation for individual educational institutions may be increased. The total number of places for participation is limited (no more than 300 people).

An application from an educational institution is sent (in one file) by email (E-mail: [email protected]). The title of the file and the subject of the letter must indicate “Application_for_the_Olympiad_Himonya_2016”. In response, you will be sent a notification letter of receipt.

VI. Rules for participation in the Olympiad

Students of the 8th, 9th and 10th grades of general education institutions in Tver and the Tver region who show interest in studying chemistry can take part in the competition.

The first stage of the competition is school. The educational institution independently carries out preparatory activities: notifies students about the Olympiad, selects and prints assignments, organizes verification of work and awarding of winners (form of certificate for participation - see Appendix). At this stage, the educational institution determines the restrictions on the number of participants in the competition independently.

To prepare and conduct the school stage of the Olympiad, it is recommended to use the following textbook materials:

Winners and prize-winners of the school stage are invited to the second (regional) stage of the Khimonya-2016 Olympiad: up to nine students from an educational institution - three people each from 8th, 9th and 10th grades.

The regional stage is held at Municipal Educational Institution Secondary School No. 43 in Tver at the address: Tver, st. Sklizkova, 95 (microdistrict "Chaika").

At the regional stage, schoolchildren are asked to decide:

10 test tasks of a basic level of difficulty: time to complete – 25 minutes;

task No. 1 higher level complexity (level of the municipal stage All-Russian Olympiad schoolchildren): time to complete – 40 minutes;

task No. 2 high level complexity (level of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren): time to complete – 55 minutes.

The total time to complete tasks is 120 minutes (2 hours).

While completing assignments, students are prohibited from using any means of communication or their own sources. reference information(including tablets and pocket computers, communicators, smartphones, electronic notebooks, reference books, tables, textbooks, etc.). Olympiad participants who violate this rule are subject to mandatory disqualification.

VIII. Procedure of the jury. Summing up the results of the Olympiad Testing of work is organized directly during the Olympiad (test tasks, task No. 1) and after completion (task No. 2) on May 14, 2016. The jury includes: chemistry teachers of educational institutions who take part in the Olympiad (accompanying);

experienced teachers specially invited to check the work, teachers and chemistry students of TvSTU and TvSU.

Participants' work is encrypted before being checked. The completion of test tasks is checked 25 minutes after the start of the Olympiad. The solutions to problem No. 1 are checked 65 minutes after the start of the competition. The solutions to problem No. 2 are checked after the students have completed their work (after 120 minutes). Based on the results of the inspection, a general protocol is drawn up.

The number of prize-winners and winners of the Olympiad is determined based on up to 30% of the number of participants in each age category.

Winners and prize-winners of the regional Olympiad “Khimonya-2016” will be invited to participate in the V Summer School of Olympic Reserve, which in June 2016 will be held on the basis of Municipal Educational Institution Secondary School No. 45 in Tver (project curator - Tatyana Anatolyevna Gorbunova).

IX. Financial conditions participation in the Olympiad Participation in all stages of the Olympiad is free. Travel to and from the venue of the regional stage is carried out at the expense of the sending party (educational institution) or at the expense of the students’ parents.
