What kind of injection system is installed on the Kia Venga. Weaknesses and typical shortcomings of a used Kia Venga

Japanese Honda was the first to offer family cars to buyers in 2001. Then Nissan, Hyundai and other automakers began offering their compact vans. Kia was among them. The South Korean giant presented a subcompact single-volume car in Frankfurt. This event happened in 2009. The small car was called Venga. The very next year, the Kia Venga won the Red Dot Award.

Appearance

It is curious that the family compact van is a South Korean car, but a German specialist worked on its design, its name is Spanish (translation - “come on”), and the small car was produced at the Kia plant, built in Slovakia, in the city of Zilina. Therefore, the little car has no trace of Asian identity. It was intended for the European car market.

The body has smooth shapes. Appearance Kia Venga 2011 talks about the “friendliness” of the vehicle. Aerodynamics are simply excellent. Its coefficient is 0.31, which indicates fuel efficiency subcompact single-volume.

The dimensions of the compact van body are small. The length of the compact van is 4.08 meters. The width of the car is 1.77, the height is 1.6 m. The Weng's wheelbase is 2.62 m. The Kia Weng has a ground clearance of 156 mm, a total/curb weight of 1.71-1.73/1.18-1.19 tons.

However, despite these dimensions, the 2012 Kia Venga subcompact has a longer wheelbase than the Soul mini-SUV. Therefore, we can say that the car complies with the principle “small on the outside – roomy on the inside.” It sounds strange, but it's true.

Interior

The basis of the Kia Venga interior is functionality with maximum volume. The roof of the compact van is so high that a person of above average height can comfortably fit inside the car. A visual increase in internal space was also noticed. This is due to the panoramic roof (optional) and the large distance from the windshield.

The other side of the coin is the front pillars, which impair the driver’s visibility, and seats with an almost “vertical” seating position, making long trips impossible. People will get tired quickly. We also note the weak lateral support of the front seats. The steering wheel is multifunctional and can be adjusted. Immediately behind it are 3 wells in which the speedometer/tachometer/fuel tank sensors are located. Many instruments are facing the driver.

In contrast to the 1st row seats, the rear sofa of the Venga 2013 can be transformed. It can be moved up to 13 cm because it sits on a slide. However, in any option there is enough space for the legs. The doors for rear row passengers swing wide, making it easier for them to enter. If you fold the back of the sofa, you can get a flat floor and increase the volume of the luggage compartment.

The maximum/standard trunk volume of the 2014 Kia Venga is 1327/440 liters. Under the floor in the space there are necessary tools with spare wheel.

According to experts, the faded interior and its other features do not in any way correspond to the spectacular exterior. The interior trim is made of cheap hard plastic. True, you can additionally order a monitor with edging deflectors of different colors to add variety to the design. There are no design frills on the console either, if you exclude the “climate disk surrounded by keys.”

But what's surprising. All this is only in the “base”. A full set On top Kia Venga models, it is assumed that there is a multifunction steering wheel, a large liquid crystal display, full power accessories, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, parking sensors, cruise control and other automatic equipment.

Here is a photo of the Kia Venga interior.

Equipment

Let's see what configurations the Kia Venga has.

If you purchase a compact van in the “base”, the car owner will have at his disposal an MP3 audio system with six speakers, an alarm system with an immobilizer, airbags (2 pcs.), ABS systems, ESS (emergency brake light) and BAS (emergency brake assist).

In the “Comfort” configuration, you can heat the front seats, steering wheel, and windshield in the area where the glass cleaners are located. Let's add here electric windows on the rear doors, multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning and Bluetooth.

The “Lux” version is even more expensive. The car is equipped with fog lights, parking sensors, climate control, active head restraints, airbags (full set), ESC systems, VSM (active control), HAC (hill assist).

Finally, the maximum configuration, “Prestige”. The car owner receives Ice optics, keyless access to the interior, and a start button power unit, panoramic roof with cruise control. If you pay an additional 10 thousand rubles, the interior is equipped with a seven-inch color touchscreen monitor.

Electronics and security

An economical “European” car from an Asian manufacturer also has maximum safety. In EuroNCAP crash tests in 2010, the subcompact single-volume vehicle received all 5 stars.

The electronics feature are two systems. The first is ISG (Stop&Go). It will automatically turn off the engine if the car is idling. As soon as the driver presses the clutch, the engine starts instantly. This saves fuel. The second is an electronic assistant if the gearbox is manual. It will advise the driver to engage the optimal gear at a specific moment in the movement. Of course, the dynamics are not impressive, but fuel consumption will be as low as possible.

Specifications

Now let’s look at the technical characteristics of the Kia Weng.

All power units of the manufacturer meet Euro-5 standards. Petrol engines with a volume of 1.4 and 1.6 liters are intended for the Russian market.

The first engine has a power of 90 “horses”. The Kia Venga 1.4 compact car accelerates to “hundreds” in 12.8 seconds. and can travel at a speed of 168 km/h. Fuel consumption within the city/on the highway/in the combined cycle – 7.5/5.5/6.2 l.

The second Kia Venga 1.6 engine has a power of 125 “horses”. Acceleration of a compact van with this installation lasts 11.5 seconds. maximum speed - 180 km/h. Fuel consumption within the city/on the highway/in the combined cycle – 8.6/5.2/6.5 liters.

Both engines require AI-95 fuel. The power plants on the Kia Venga are paired with a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission. The turbodiesel engine could be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. The gearboxes are quite outdated, but work great.

According to the manufacturer, the resource of the power plants is 200 thousand km.

Gas tank volume – 50 l. Before restyling - 48 liters.

The vehicle was equipped with two suspensions: front independent (MacPherson strut) on double wishbones and aft semi-independent torsion bar. All chassis were equipped with disc brakes (front ones - also ventilated) with an ABS system.

The difference between restyling and pre-styling

In 2015, the Weng was restyled.

The front part of the compact van has been thoroughly changed. The car received a new, narrowed bumper with the company's logo above it. It now has modern LED optics and the car's radiator grille has been changed. Subcompact car foglights now have daytime running lights. Moreover, all changes corresponded to the corporate style of the South Korean manufacturer. The front seating position has become low.

From the side, the Kia Venga 2015 looks muscular, which is not typical for cars of this class. The door stampings and swollen chassis arches add aggressiveness to the compact car. The hood is sloping and short, the angle of the windshield is optimal. Hence the excellent aerodynamics. New disks have appeared.

There were no significant changes at the stern. The optics received an intricate pattern, and the small trunk door received a strip of chrome. A fish fin appeared on the elongated roof. This is an antenna.

The center console has been changed. On the Kia Venga 2016, the four-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a six-speed automatic transmission.

Kia Wenga has characteristics ground clearance have not changed, nor have the dimensions of the car.

Problems, inconveniences and answers to questions

Driving around the city in a small car is a pleasure. Its dynamism is sufficient, and Kia sizes Venga allows you to park almost everywhere.

According to owner reviews, the Kia Veng has some disadvantages.

On the highway, the compact van clearly lacks sixth gear (this was taken into account during restyling). When the speed on the speedometer exceeds 120, the engine begins to “fry” fuel and begins to operate noisily.

Many drivers say that the car gets very nervous at high speed. It is noted that the small car even bounces on waves/irregularities. There are complaints about the steering wheel, too soft clutch, switching to 3rd speed (a grinding noise is heard).

The level of comfort is reduced by a stiff suspension. Therefore, it loudly responds to any unevenness in the road surface.

Oil leaks may occur at the junction of the gearbox and the engine. The reason is that the crankshaft oil seal has failed. Less common is a leak from the fuel injection pump. You can replace the pump, but it will cost less to repair this unit. It is allowed.

The front stabilizer struts and bushings are short-lived in use. The air conditioning system is not working efficiently enough. It takes a long time to cool the interior. Rear visibility is poor. Therefore, parking sensors are recommended, which will make it easier to maneuver when backing up the car.

In rare cases, the steering angle sensor may stop functioning and the steering wheel amplifier may turn off. Repair is not provided; the steering column will have to be replaced.

There are many complaints, especially in winter, about the creaking of the Kia Venga panel. The plastic will need to be glued. Car owners noticed another problem with the subcompact single-volume car: spontaneous reset of the on-board computer data on fuel consumption. This should only happen after refueling with gasoline.

A few questions

  1. What kind of battery is required for Kia Venga 1.6? The element must have a capacity of 60-70 A/h, a starting current of 640-720 A, European type terminals, height/length/width 190/241/175 mm.
  2. What kind of oil is required for the Kia Venga automatic transmission? Shell Helix products with a viscosity of 5W40 are recommended. However, you can use motor oil for Kia Venga with a different degree, 5W30, and from other manufacturers: Ford Formula, Mobile or Liquid Molly.
  3. How much oil should be poured into Kia engine Venga? It all depends on the volume of the power unit. For 1.4/1.6, 3.3 or 5.3/3.7 or 5.7 liters are required.
  4. At what temperature should you check the oil? The engine needs to warm up. The outside temperature does not affect the test.
  5. Why does the automatic transmission jerk when shifting and the check light comes on? We recommend going to a service station and reading the error using a computer. There may be several reasons.
  6. What kind of drive does the car's timing mechanism have, a chain or a belt? Small car engines are equipped with chain drive Timing belt Its resource is the entire operational life of the mechanism. Replacement is not required, but loose/faulty drive rollers may need to be tightened/replaced.

What about ride comfort? KIA engineers took special care of this. Firstly, the car has very good sound insulation. All that could be heard in the salon was a hum winter tires, in which the test car was “shod”. Neither the sound of the engine at low and medium speeds, nor the characteristic noise of the street can be heard - this is thanks to the thick glass and insulation of the panels. The suspension of the microvan is tuned to the needs of the average city dweller. On Moscow roads it seemed collected and moderately dense. Potholes and road joints did not make the body shake nervously, but the chassis informs about overcoming speed bumps loudly and loudly, as if complaining. But Venga is not characterized by such a disease of many minivans as vertical sway.

The Venga's 1.6-liter 125-horsepower gasoline engine was combined in our case with a 5-speed manual transmission, and we liked this combination. First of all, because such a machine is extremely balanced. It handles city traffic without any problems and does not require boosting the gas or frequently squeezing the clutch in traffic jams. At the same time, the Venga engine has a very juicy “low end” - the single-cab engine is capable of sharply accelerating from low and medium speeds - for example, to make a rapid “jump” into the next row. At high speeds the car lacks agility. Before accelerating, it is better to “tuck” a lower gear in advance.

By the way, changing the gears of the Venga's 5-speed transmission is quite convenient. The switching mechanism is clear and has acceptable selectivity. The gears are quite long and selected in such a way as to save fuel.

If you wish, you can also spur the Venga - to do this you need to maintain high engine speeds. It’s a pity that the compact KIA becomes quite voracious in this situation. Real consumption with deliberately active city driving, it amounted to approximately 12 l/100 km, with the stated 8.4 l/100 km.

The braking dynamics for a car with a curb weight of 1180 kg are quite decent. The drive is informative. Braking is smooth and smooth, just as it should be in a family car. ABS Venga is configured to respond early, but this feature is not at all annoying.

Know your worth

The most affordable KIA Venga will cost the Russian buyer 615 thousand rubles, but this car has a 1.4-liter 90-horsepower engine, manual transmission gears and a minimum of useful options - it is unlikely to be in demand. The role of a family car is still reserved for slightly more richly equipped cars. In our opinion, the 1.6-liter KIA Venga, which is available with both “mechanics” and “automatic”, is more likely to become a bestseller. We tested a car in the top-end Prestige configuration, for which dealers are asking 703 thousand rubles. For the same car with an automatic transmission you will have to pay 739 thousand rubles, which by the standards of the segment is not at all small. However, Venga is not an exception to corporate rules in this sense. After the redesign under the leadership of Peter Schreyer and a radical update of the technical equipment, the entire model range of the brand has become more expensive - just compare the prices for the Sportage of the current and previous generations. Behind the rise in price, however, are the justified ambitions of the Korean brand, which correspond to the growing ambitions of modern buyers.

KIA Venga is a front-wheel drive five-seat Korean compact van from Kia Motors. Automobile Kia Venga developed in Germany and produced at the Kia plant in Slovakia since 2010. This eco-friendly, economical, safe family car was developed specifically for the European buyer.

Conceptual version Korean car The Kia Venga, called Kia No3, was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2009. The car was equipped with an unusual glass panoramic roof with a diagonal strut. The model turned out to be beautiful and modern and was warmly received by the public.

Already in September 2009, a model called Kia Venga, created on the basis of the Kia No3 concept, was demonstrated in Frankfurt. Venga was not much different from the concept car presented six months ago in Geneva. Unlike the concept, the Venga has become a little longer (the length of the Kia No3 is 4045 mm, the Venga is 4068 mm), and the radiator grille has also been modified.

German designer Peter Schreyer and developers worked on the model Kia company Motors. Schreier gave the car a signature Kia grille, known as the “tiger nose.” The stylish plastic sidewalls and spectacular rear optics attract the eye. Sales of the Kia Venga in Europe began in 2010.

The Kia Venga in the first version turned out to be a beautiful and impressive, but expensive car for its class. In 2011, the developers got down to business again, soon to offer the viewer an updated model. The modernized Venga received a cheaper basic package. IN basic configuration Classic model offered since the 90s strong engine 1.4 l and manual transmission, equipped with ABS, two airbags, electric power steering, air conditioning and power windows.

The updated Venga has acquired new options. Among others, there is cruise control, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera with a display in the interior mirror, and an iPod cable. Thanks to the panoramic roof with sunroof and factory-tinted windows, the car's design has become more impressive.

Technical features

The Weng is 4068mm long, which is shorter than many compact city family cars. This allows the car to be maneuverable. The body height of 1600 mm makes the Weng a spacious car, leaving quite a lot of space above the driver's head.

The rear row of seats is divided in the Kia Venga in a ratio of 60:40. Each part folds out to form a flat floor, which is very convenient for transporting large loads. The luggage compartment volume increases from 440 to 1390 liters.

Weng has two gasoline engines. The basic 90-horsepower engine is combined with a manual transmission, and the more powerful “four”, developing 125 hp. pp., you can buy it with an automatic transmission. For even more powerful engine The 1.6 liter is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, which reduces average fuel consumption to 6.4 liters per 100 km. Venga with a diesel engine is not supplied to Russia.

Each engine in model range The Venga is equipped with Stop & Go fuel saving technology. This technology provides fuel savings of up to 15% when driving in city mode: during stops, the system turns off the engine and starts it again when you press the gas pedal.

Venga engines comply with the Euro 5 environmental standard. Such engines are the most modern and “environmentally friendly”.

Pros and cons compared to competitors

It is the beauty and unusual design that often makes car enthusiasts prefer this car. Despite its external compactness, the car is quite spacious. The car has a spacious trunk. The maneuverable Kia Venga, which has a small turning radius and clear responses to steering inputs, is comfortable in a city with a heavy traffic load. Also convenient in traffic jams high rise driver. However, the Kia Venga is “afraid” of curbs due to its low front bumper.

As for competitors, most of them lose to Venga: Nissan Note- smaller and has the old controversial design, Ford Fusion - tighter and stiffer, Volkswagen Golf Plus is good, but much more expensive.

Interesting Facts

Venga means “Come on!” in Spanish. As conceived by the creators, Venga is a call for a comfortable and convenient trip.

The Kia Venga is based on a platform that is also used in the Hyundai i20 and Kia Soul.

The author of the Kia Venga design, Peter Schreyer, is the author of such popular cars as the Audi TT, Audi A2, VW Golf IV and Kia Sorento. With his participation, the world-favorite Volkswagen Beetle was created. Petr Schreyer has been the chief designer of Kia Motors since 2007. He has headed the Kia Motors Corporation since 2012.

Numbers and awards

In 2009, the Kia Venga received the international iF product design awards in Germany. This is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of design.

In 2010, the model was awarded the LCA certificate from the authoritative German Union technical supervision TÜV Nord. This certificate indicates that the machine has minimal harmful effects on environment throughout life cycle: from design to disposal.

In 2011, Kia Venga was included in the list of contenders for victory in the European Car of the Year competition, but ultimately did not receive the honorary title.

Safety

In May 2010, the Venga took part in the EuroNCAP crash safety tests and earned four out of five stars. The manufacturer did not like the result. The price of the car was at the European level and safety had to correspond to the highest rating. Changes have been made to the design of the car.

In November 2010, crash tests were carried out again. The “second round” was more successful for Weng, the car received the long-awaited 5 “stars”. The car earned 64% for protecting pedestrians, adult passengers were protected in the car by 89%, children by 85%.

Kia Venga is a fairly practical family car that is very popular among Russian car enthusiasts. Of course, like any other car, this foreign car has its pros and cons. Among its positive aspects is attractive appearance, spacious salon, a spacious trunk, a “tasty” price, as well as comfort and safety. However, in order to decide whether to buy a Kia Venga, whether to take new car from the showroom, or buy a used car, you need to carefully analyze all the pros and cons, highlighting the weak points of the Kia Venga. You may agree to put up with some nuances, provided that you are satisfied with everything else, but at the same time, certain features characteristic of the Kia Veng may be unacceptable.

Weaknesses of the Kia Venga

  • Suspension;
  • Steering gear;
  • Engine;
  • Electronics.

Almost all Kia Venga owners indicate problems with the suspension. Firstly, they unanimously pay attention to the rigid suspension, which was designed for European highways, and in Russian road conditions significantly reduces the level of comfort. Secondly, shock absorbers (both front and rear) quickly become unusable, so when purchasing a Kia Venga, you need to be prepared to replace them every 30-45 thousand km. mileage, especially if we are talking about a used car. How can you tell if your shock absorbers are good? If, when pressing on the hood, the car swings once, then they are in good condition, but if they continue to rock, the components need to be replaced.

Steering gear

Various problems periodically occur in the steering mechanism: failure of the steering cardan, “glitches” in the operation of the electric power steering. In addition, the ESP system sometimes loses the center position of the steering wheel (problems in the electronics, but ultimately does not turn the steering wheel). This failure can be “cured” by reflashing it at an official dealer.

The Kia Venga is equipped with a fairly strong engine (1.4; 1.6 manual transmission or 1.6 automatic transmission), which, however, periodically has problems - it can behave quite unpredictably. Some owners of this car indicate problems with the gas pedal, which can only work synchronously at a quarter of the stroke. When operating a car, this is quite dangerous: for example, if the car does not respond properly to pressing the gas pedal when overtaking.

Sensors may malfunction; problems of this kind are quite common. In addition, many drivers who have dealt with the Kia Venga pay attention to the possibility of resetting all readings on-board computer. Head unit, provided with the car, also often “glitches”, refusing to play files from a flash drive. Advice - to avoid troubles, test the car before purchasing, which will help identify potential problems.

The main disadvantages of the Kia Venga

In addition to the sore spots, we can highlight some shortcomings of the Kiya Venga - these are not the most advantageous characteristics that the design of this car initially assumes.

  1. Salon;
  2. Suspension;
  3. Rack design;
  4. Battery;
  5. Air conditioner;
  6. Fuel consumption and sensitivity to it.

Most car enthusiasts have complaints about the Kia Venga interior. Despite the fact that it is quite spacious, and the seats are soft and comfortable, car owners are dissatisfied with the interior trim. Cheap plastic produces an unpleasant squeak, which can be annoying during a trip. This is especially evident in the area where the front panel meets the glass, as well as in the area of the seat belt mechanism. In order to solve the problem, additional surface sizing is required. The driver's seat does not lower, making it not very comfortable for tall drivers. The cabin is very noisy, especially when driving on rough roads; there is practically no insulation from extraneous sounds.

Rack design

The main disadvantage of the body is the extremely inconvenient design of the rack. We are talking about the left front pillar. It partially blocks the driver's view, and this can cause an emergency. You constantly have to lean forward so as not to miss a pedestrian entering the street. roadway, or traffic light.

For a car like the Kia Venga, a higher power battery would be preferable. Another significant disadvantage is that it is not removable. Thus, to bring a dead battery back to life, you need to use a battery charger.

Lack of lighting in the glove compartment, on the control buttons on the doors and problems with its brightness on dashboard– also a minus, although not so significant. Motorists note that this looks like inappropriate savings and creates some discomfort (in the basic model).

The air conditioning in the Kia Venga does not work efficiently enough; there are many complaints about its functioning. If the interior is very hot in the sun, it takes a long time to cool down. There is no ambient temperature indicator.

The tank volume in the Kia Venga is 48 liters. Car owners unanimously indicate that this car “ loves to eat": fuel consumption in the city averages from 7 to 10 liters, which, in general, is not surprising based on the engine size and weight of the car. In addition, the Kia Venga is very picky in terms of fuel quality: its technical specifications indicate that the car can be filled with 92-grade gasoline, but in practice it will be much better to use 95-grade gasoline. It is important that the fuel is High Quality– otherwise the car may begin to act up.

Summarize.

Despite the fact that there are certain shortcomings in the design of the Kia Venga, and many forums warn about “childhood diseases” of this car, it is very popular among Russian motorists. In all likelihood, they are satisfied with the price-quality ratio of this model, its relative ease of maintenance, compact size, but at the same time sufficient interior and trunk space. Quite low operating costs add to the Kiya Venga's attractiveness. It is very important to promptly change the necessary components, monitor the condition of the engine and suspension, and use high-quality fuel for refueling.

P.S.: Dear current and future owners, leave your feedback, write below in the comments about frequent breakdowns and shortcomings of this car model, identified and noticed during operation.

    The only truth is the suspension and body pillar. The plastic is fine, nothing creaks, the ground clearance allows you to go outdoors even in winter, the original battery only requires monthly recharging with an electronic charger (if traveling around the city). The noise from the anthers of the front pillars is replaced with rubber ones from vases, and the sound insulation is no worse than RAF4. Consumption with automatic transmission is 6.5 highway and 8.5-9 city. In Moscow it did not exceed 8.5. I was very surprised. I've owned it for 5 years, 70k miles, luxury equipment.

    Good evening to all Kia Venga owners. I read the article by this author and I can say, I agree with him in everything. I can even add that the mechanical steering bushings are weak and break quickly, and it is not uncommon for the door and trunk locks (the microphones in them are weak) to fail to lock. The side mirrors have poor visibility when you back up. The painting is not so great, before winter I removed the saffron milk caps above the windshield. The engine does not have hydraulic compensators, which is also a minus. It turns out that it’s a little expensive to adjust the valve if you have it done by the officials. And the spare parts are expensive, although they are not made of gold. And the only thing that makes me happy about this car is the body, which was developed by the Germans and the engine is not as torquey as I would like, but very economical. I think that in the city, if you don’t accelerate from intersections, I can easily fit in 6.3 liters, according to the computer. My Kia car Venga 2011 1.6l., 80t.km mileage, MT. Everything that was written I had to deal with and repair with my own hands.

  6. Kirill

    I own a Kia Venga 2012. 1.6 MT. Mileage 60000 km.
    For 6 years I only changed consumables. Regarding the limited visibility on the left side of the A-pillar and Low quality LKP agrees with the author.
    Sound insulation is better than that of Sid, Rio and Sol. Consumption 8.3 in the city. I didn't have any other problems.
    The suspension is not stiff in my opinion.
    In terms of the reliability-spaciousness-comfort-price ratio, I haven’t found anything better.
    It's a pity that they stopped producing this wonderful car.

  7. Olga

    I want to buy this car, I read reviews, everyone has different opinions, I don’t know what to do. Externally, I liked the car. Advise men)

  8. Vladimir

    Yes, the car is not bad (2014 1.6 engine, Prestige manual transmission, purchased in 2015), but problems with the battery emerged, I believe the car stood for a long time with a discharged battery in the parking lot of a car dealership (on Ryabinovaya Street) and as a result, after half a year of torment and changed the charger for a new one. But also not very successful. I bought a 60 Ah battery with a high calcium content, and in conditions of short mileage and I suppose there was insufficient charge from the generator, the battery “ran out” within a year, I had to buy a new 55 Ah battery, so far there have been no problems with it for a year.
    I would like to note a design flaw that in the KIA family this is the only model where there is no coolant temperature sensor on the dashboard. Especially in winter this is very inconvenient. I bought and installed a “Multitronic” gadget with which you can control the coolant temperature and battery voltage and much more, speed in digital format. By the way, according to the digital speed readings, as well as the navigator, which also shows a digital format, the speed on the car’s speedometer does not correspond digital values approximately 7-9 km/h upwards.
    And now I’m without a car for a day.
    Can you imagine, when starting the engine, errors immediately appeared: 1-ABS, 2- parking brake, 3 - electric power steering, the engine tachometer also did not work, and later the engine error light came on. I was in the Moscow region and, despite the problems, I went to Moscow, where I took the car in for service, and they have been looking for a short circuit on San-bus B for 24 hours now.
    When I find everything, I'll post it.

    The battery is forced to be replaced, after 3 years of operation, with a 55-amp one. I didn’t notice any special (or not special) squeaks. Passenger belt front seat, hits the body, I tuck it into the fastening slot with the bracket inward. The rear parcel shelf keeps getting out of engagement and I have to get out of the car and put it back in place. There is no drawer for small items between the front seats, which is inconvenient. I agree with the author of the article, the gas pedal is not always adequate and it is better to refuel at 95, which is what I sometimes do. Overall the car is GOOD! At its own price. I like her very much. I advise everyone.

    The car is 2012, purchased for my wife in September 2017 from a friend while driving away 68,000 km. Comfort package with 4-speed automatic transmission. Noise insulation and suspension are lacking as a class. Using the recipe found on Drive 2, I solved the problem with the suspension, everything cost 32,000 rubles, now the car has become much more comfortable, in addition, as a bonus, the ground clearance has increased by 2.5-3 cm. After removing the aerodynamic lip of the front bumper, the car turned into a mini crossover.
    I made noise and vibration insulation of the doors, trunk to the floor of the rear seats and the roof. I also missed the outside of the front wheel arches. Tinted the front windows with a colorless film. Now the cabin has become much quieter, the temperature inside has become more stable, and the air conditioning has begun to cope with its job.
    I changed the fluid in the automatic transmission and washed the air conditioner evaporator.
    I installed 8-zone parking sensors and a rear view camera. I installed the bluetooth module on the radio.
    Therefore, now sometimes I take my wife’s car away and drive it myself on business, since it eats 2 times less than my Toyota, and on weekends I don’t drive mine at all. I only fill 92.
    The left pillar is not a big problem in my opinion.
    The battery was replaced by the previous owner.
    Saving on interior lighting really seems out of place.
    The only problem that happened was that the ignition coil of cylinder 2 was covered with a furry animal, and as I understand it, it was due to the fact that I missed the time to replace the spark plugs.
    Overall I like the car. I advise everyone who doubts to take it. But now I would choose a restyling in the maximum configuration with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

    The car was purchased in 2014. for the wife. During operation there were no breakdowns, the battery is still original, the suspension works great, there are no problems with the electronics, no extraneous sounds bother me. Under warranty, one rear shock absorber was replaced, everything else, apart from consumables, is original. Consumption in city mode did not rise above 7.5 liters. per hundred.
    engine 1.6 automatic transmission.
