Coils for solenoid valves

Supplied for V series distributors. The kit includes a connector and a DIN connector. The coils are interchangeable with Camozzi distributor coils. Coil voltage: 12, 24 V DC or 24, 110, 220 V AC. On request we can produce coils with other voltages.
The symbol "NO" in the "coil compatibility" column indicates that this valve is a normally open type, "NC" is a normally closed type.

Electromagnetic coil structure:

Electromagnetic coils also called inductors or solenoids. They are designed to convert the energy of electric current into mechanical translational motion. The cylinder of the solenoid coil usually has a copper winding, less often - aluminum. In high-tech industries, the windings are made of superconductors. The length of the cylinder, and therefore the winding, must exceed its diameter. These cylindrical frames are manufactured either as single-layer or multi-layer. The winding contains a magnetic plunger. When a direct electric current is supplied to the winding, an almost uniform magnetic field appears in the cavity of the cylinder. Under its action, the core is drawn into the coil. Cores are made of iron, cast iron, ferrite and other alloys. When alternating current is supplied, the magnetic field of the electromagnetic coil will also be alternating.

Working principle of solenoid valve:

As long as voltage is not applied to the coil winding of the solenoid valve, the spring tightly closes the hole and the flow of compressed air is blocked. The working medium creates natural pressure thanks to special holes in the upper part of the diaphragm. As soon as an electrical signal is applied, the magnetic field, acting on the core, retracts it, compressing the spring. Thus, the passage hole is open. Due to the fact that the diameter of the passage hole is larger than the special holes on the top of the diaphragm, the pressure on the top part is relieved and the main hole opens. As soon as the voltage disappears, under the action of the spring, the hole in the solenoid valve coil is closed again.

Solenoid valve coil has a copper winding protected by a composite dielectric composition, in addition, it is equipped with a grounding contact. The solenoid valve coil is available for different voltages and currents - DC or AC. Optionally offered membranes (diaphragms) are made of durable but elastic polymers: EPDM, NBR, FKM and are designed for different working environments, pressures and temperatures. From us you can also buy a timer - a time relay that allows you to cyclically set the solenoid valve to work, with a specified on or off time and a specified waiting interval.
