  12. After that, it is necessary to check that there are no grease leaks through the drain plug and box assemblies. If there are traces of a leak, then the cause of its appearance must be eliminated.
  13. In the case when the lubricant was replaced with the removal of the filter, the parts should be assembled in the reverse order.

  1. First, you need to drive about 10 kilometers with a warm engine. This will make it easier to distribute the compound evenly throughout the transmission.
  2. Raise the side on the right side of the VAZ 2115 car using a jack. We lower the car only if there is a block or other lining under it. It is forbidden to work under a car that is simply installed on a jack.

After that, unscrew the plug using a 17 mm spanner. We substitute the canister from below, then a warm liquid will pour into it.

  7. You have to wait 10-15 minutes until the grease is completely drained.
  8. You need a bottle of plastic for one and a half liters. Getting rid of the bottom.

  9. After that, we proceed to dismantle the air filter and pipe. Mass air flow sensor is completely disconnected from the terminal. We turn to twisting the clamps, next to the throttle and the crankcase pipe. This will make it quicker and easier to remove the inlet assembly.

  10. The dipstick in the VAZ 2115 gearbox must be pulled out. It is located at the top, not far from the salon.
  11. We substitute the neck of the bottle without a bottom to the hole. This design will serve as a funnel for us. The liquid must be poured through it for at least ten minutes. And then check if there are any leaks.
  12. Install the motor protection in place if there are no problems. The vehicle can then be removed from the stand.
  13. We use the dipstick while continuing to fill the gearbox with grease. Until it reaches the maximum mark.
  14. We put the filter and inlet pipe back in place in the reverse order.

After the new fluid is poured, you must wait until it falls completely into the lower part of the crankcase. Only after that the level is checked on the dipstick. We will assume that the oil change procedure is carried out in a regular garage without a pit or lift.

2. Before performing work, it is necessary to warm up the gearbox. To do this, you need to drive about ten kilometers on a WARM engine. This is necessary for the gears to disperse the oil throughout the entire gearbox.

3. After that, raise the RIGHT side of the car on a jack. We install a stand or any block and lower the car. NEVER work under a jack-only vehicle.

4. If the floors are cold, place a sheet of plywood / wood under the car.

5. Put on gloves. We move under the car, taking with us the canister and the "17" key. If a crankcase guard is installed on the car, then there must be a cutout under the oil plug (not all guards). The plug is located on the bottom left flange of the gearbox:

6. If there is no cutout, you will have to remove the engine protection. We clean the cork with a metal brush. Then we wipe the surface around it with a rag. Unscrew it with the "17" key. Do not forget to substitute a canister under it. The oil will be warm, but not hot. We are waiting for 10-15 minutes to completely drain the oil. We tighten the cork.

7. Using a knife, cut out the bottom of a plastic 1.5 liter bottle:

8. Remove the air filter together with the inlet pipe. To do this, remove the terminal from the MAF sensor:

We unscrew the clamp at the throttle and at the crankcase gas pipe (better on the cylinder head - the cylinder head). We remove the entire intake assembly as a whole:

9. We take out the oil dipstick at the checkpoint. It is located on top, closer to the passenger compartment:

10. Install the neck of the bottle to the hole for the cork, as shown in the figure. Using the bottle as a funnel, fill in the oil (preferably less than three liters). Check if oil is dripping from the plug under the car. For this we wait 10 minutes.

11. After making sure that there is no dripping, put the engine protection (if removed), remove the car from the stand. Add oil to the "MAX" level using the dipstick. The box should hold 3.2 liters of oil.
