What is good about the Bioxi septic tank: an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of these treatment systems. Bioxi septic tank: purpose, advice on selection, installation instructions Construction of a bioxi septic tank with a backwash pump

The Bioxi sewerage installation is fully adapted to the conditions Russian territories. Repeated tests on Bioxi septic tanks have established full compliance with sanitary and construction standards of the Russian Federation.

The advantages of this equipment include the following points:

  • complete absence of unpleasant odor from the septic tank;
  • the degree of wastewater treatment is from 95% to 98%, which is considered sufficient high level cleansing;
  • the structure does not need to pump out the septic tank using a sewer truck;
  • there is no need to regularly add the necessary biomass from bacteria to process wastewater;
  • The compact design allows it to be easily installed and operated without filtration fields.

Ease of installation, ease of maintenance and the absolute absence of the need for pumping using a sewer truck or drainage pump makes the Bioxi sewage installation completely unique.

It is thanks to the combination of deep biological treatment, which is capable of processing not only wastewater, but also sludge accumulated as a result of processing, as well as through aeration fields, that the creation of air injection is practically emptied without accumulating sludge.

All sludge that remains and still accumulates over a longer period of time can be removed from the septic tank using additional equipment– an aeration pump because only it will do an excellent job of flushing particles out of the system and discharge them into the outlet pipe.

The features that characterize the process of operation of Bioxi septic tanks include a sufficient degree of wastewater treatment, fairly economical electricity consumption - up to 20 W per person, and does not require additional power sources.

It is also possible to install treatment plant on dacha plots of the smallest areas without filter fields or trenches.

The design is equipped with a special automatic control panel for peak sludge accumulation, which needs to be pumped out only 1-2 times a year, provided that the volumes of discharged wastewater do not greatly exceed the volume of the septic tank.

Cleaning does not have to be done with a sewer truck; you can use an aeration pump, which quickly washes the sludge from the septic tank into the ground.

Photo: aeration pump

The organic origin of sludge is completely safe for the soil and can even serve as a fertilizer.

In the area of the septic tank body adjacent to the soil, there are completely no metal parts; the body is made of plastic from high-strength polyethylene low pressure, and therefore is not subject to corrosion.

The built-in automatic flushing system of the septic tank increases its service life before pumping out the accumulated sludge.

Important! The Bioxi septic tank is designed by manufacturers on the principle of operation of entire wastewater treatment plants, and therefore has all the necessary devices and built-in equipment for the highest quality cleaning and removal of wastewater outside the septic tank.

Also, the installation is planned and made in such a way that it can be freely installed in soils with conditions where groundwater is located close to the surface of the earth.

In addition, the structure has sufficient weight so that it does not “float” during installation and sprinkling, and therefore it is not necessary to install it on a concrete pad.

Important! However, during installation, you should still equalize the pressure during sprinkling by gradually filling the containers with water.

The polypropylene body reliably protects the entire structure of the septic tank from mechanical damage, and also easily withstands the effects of aggressive organic environments of sewer liquids.

The compressors in the Bioxi septic tank are used from a Japanese manufacturer, and therefore they do not need to be lubricated with any lubricant, they have a fairly high reliability and low level noise level at the level of operation of modern refrigerator engines.

The septic tank is pumped out using the pump of the equipment itself directly into the ground. The silt mass is of biological origin, and therefore completely harmless to the soil.

Modifications and prices

All modifications show themselves to be very effective for summer cottages, garden organizations and private homes.

The models differ among themselves in productivity, ability to serve a certain number of people, respectively, in size and cost.

But by and large, Bioxi septic tank models can easily be used for several families of a small number of people.

For cottages and houses with families of up to 10 people, the best and most suitable models are septic tanks of the Bioxi 1 and 2 series.

The rest can serve either several houses with small families, or small villages, garden or dacha associations. A separate category Bioxi models are always available for sale and are produced upon request.

These are models with high productivity, large volumes of treatment of domestic sewage. Such septic tanks are marked: 20, 30, 40 and 50.

The Bioxi septic tank is considered a very effective sewage installation; the number of models produced is tens of thousands and is one of the popular design options. autonomous sewerage.

Three modifications of the Bioxi septic tank each have their own parameters and, accordingly, capabilities:

  • Bioxi 1 s/t – gravity pumping of purified water;
  • Bioxi Long – elongated design;
Photo: Bioxi Long
  • Bioxi SL is a super long design.

Bulk discharges into these treatment facilities are received by cameras quite quickly and efficiently.

The design of the internal receiving tanks is such that it has time to process bulk wastewater, preventing flooding of the septic tank. This is very convenient, especially when there are several discharge points from bathrooms in the house.

Thanks to the internal structure filtration systems and the work of bacteria ensures complete recycling of sewage.

Photo: Bioxi 1

Bioxi 1 freely serves a house with up to 5 permanent residents.

The equipment consists of four chambers, each of which has its own specific wastewater treatment. This is an aeration tank where, with the help of air jets and streams, sewage accumulates on the surface of the water and is driven to one side.

The receiving chamber ensures, through a settling tank, the decomposition of wastewater into sludge and water, the sludge settles to the bottom of the chamber, and the water flows into another chamber.

The stabilizer is a chamber where the remaining sludge settles and the water is again purified.

Bioxi 2

All markings such as s/t (gravity-flow), Long - extended, SL - super extended also apply to Bioxi 2. Septic tanks of these modifications can freely serve families with a large number of permanent residents.

As a rule, they are designed for 10 people. The compact design allows it to be installed on the smallest plots of land and does not require the installation of filtration fields or the installation of additional filter wells.

An excellent quality housing made of high-strength plastic is resistant not only to aggressive sewer liquids, but also to temperature changes and mechanical stress.

Photo: septic tank Bioxi 2

The high productivity of wastewater treatment per day allows you to purify water in a short period of time in a volume of up to 2 cubic meters. The energy consumption of the cleaning equipment is standard - 220 V (1.17 x 2.36 m).

During installation, the pipe is connected to the septic tank at a depth of 120 cm. Installation of Bioxi septic tanks can be carried out in any soil: sandy, loamy, quicksand or clay soil.

The power of the pumping unit built inside the septic tank is 80 W/370 W, which allows you to pump out liquid to a considerable distance from the septic tank.

The Bioxi 5 septic tank is an excellent solution for installing an autonomous sewer system in a summer cottage or suburban area of a private house. The advantages of such a septic tank differ significantly from Bioxi series 1 or 2 septic tanks.

And this, first of all, concerns the performance of treatment equipment. In this case, water purification reaches 98%, and this is the most plausible high indicator of the degree of purification of sewer liquid waste.

The uniqueness of Bioxi 5 septic tanks also lies in the fact that the equipment does not require pumping using a sewer truck.

And all because the internal chambers are equipped with a pumping unit that is capable of pumping waste sludge directly into the ground.

Water that is clarified and purified can be used in the future for technical or household needs because it is completely free of aggressive chemicals.

Of course, such water is not suitable for drinking, but watering the garden or washing the car is quite possible. During installation, it is not necessary to dig a large pit; it is enough to make a deep septic tank the size of the septic tank.

Another striking advantage of Bioxi septic tanks is the complete absence of unpleasant odor and noiselessness. Maintenance of such septic tanks is quite simple and does not require the involvement of special professional labor.

includes monitoring the proper operation of all areas of equipment and constant electricity.

Such an environmentally friendly sewage treatment system can be easily installed even close to home, without operating at all without violating environmental standards.

Principle of operation

Almost all models and series of Bioxi septic tanks work on the same principle, but with only one difference - some have a gravity flow of purified water from the septic tank, and some have a forced outlet.

But the path taken by sewer liquid with all kinds of inclusions is almost identical in one or another Bioxi model. not complicated, but at the same time quite labor-intensive.

Photo: principle of operation of the Bioxi septic tank

The sewer liquid is supplied to the septic tank through a pipeline running underground and supplied to the first chamber. Here the primary treatment of wastewater occurs using air.

It is these living microorganisms that are capable of transforming liquids with various soluble inclusions to such an extent that wastewater turns into water and sludge.

The sludge settles to the bottom of the septic tank, over time, of course, accumulates in the sludge receptacle, and then is pumped directly into the ground through the outlet pipe. The water settles and then flows into the next chamber.

The first chamber also has a device - an aerator, which, using air jets, drives particles of petroleum products, light debris and other inclusions that float to the surface.

Wastewater enters the second chamber through an airlift - a special device that belongs to the pumping unit.

This container is usually larger than the previous and subsequent ones, and therefore the cleaning process continues here to the fullest extent. The process includes aeration, settling of water and pumping out the purified liquid.

The next chamber refers to sludge mass stabilizers. An aerator may also be present here, which, due to its operation with the help of air flows, helps to separate the sludge into certain unique fractions.

Light insoluble inclusions that are still present in the water fall into special trays, from where they are then pumped out.

And heavy particles settle to the bottom along with silt and are also periodically pumped out into the ground by a pump.

The purification process in BIOXI stations occurs due to the interaction of wastewater with activated sludge - biomass of various types of microorganisms and protozoa involved in biochemical breakdown, and simply eating organic pollutants and many inorganic compounds, which contributes to the deep purification of wastewater. This cleaning allows, without disturbing sanitary standards, discharge treated wastewater after BIOXI stations onto the terrain.

Let's consider the operation of the station in more detail:

First of all, sewage flows into the receiving chamber (2), where it is mixed, as well as the splitting of large mechanical inclusions. This happens due to the process of intensive aeration - saturation of the liquid with oxygen, in this case due to the supply of air oxygen by a membrane compressor to the aerator (3).

Side view

Next, the already prepared wastewater, through a filter of large fractions (5), which retains undissolved organic waste and inorganic debris, through the main airlift - a pump operating on the principle of squeezing out liquid by air pressure (7), enters the next chamber, called the “aeration tank” (8), where the concentration of working activated sludge is maximum due to constant and intense fine-bubble aeration. In the Aerotank there is a buried secondary settling tank (abbreviated SVO) (9). Moreover, the aerator of the aeration tank is located on one side, which allows, in the presence of a water treatment plant, to ensure the movement of treated wastewater with activated sludge in a circle, intensifying the cleaning process. When part of the purified water with activated sludge moves downwards, the oxygen concentration in the water decreases, the process of denitrification (reduction of nitrites and nitrates to gaseous nitrogen) intensifies, the resulting nitrogen bubbles are easily separated from the sludge particles due to water circulation.

After the denitrification zone, part of the water, passing through the water treatment area, is separated from the sludge and flows through the outlet pipe of the buried secondary sedimentation tank (14) into the outlet tank (15). From the outlet tank, purified wastewater is removed from the station by gravity or forcibly using a drainage pump through the outlet pipe( 25).

Excess activated sludge from the aeration tank is pumped by an airlift (22) into an activated sludge stabilizer (19) with a large-bubble aerator (20), where it accumulates and stabilizes under aerobic conditions. Heavier sludge settles to the bottom of the tank, and water with a small amount of small particles of activated sludge flows through a small vertical settling tank through the overflow pipe (23) back into the aeration tank and continues to participate in the purification of incoming contaminated water.

View from above

BIOXI cleaning systems are equipped with an automatic flushing system and have a flushing pump (17) located in the outlet tank (15) and controlled by a control unit timer (16). The pump is connected to the distribution pipeline of the automatic washing system (18), to which in turn are connected: the main airlift (7), the activated sludge recirculation airlift (22), the denitrification zone washing injector (13), and the SVO film breaker (11). Also, while the pump is operating, the outlet pipe of the air cooler (14) is flushed, and through it the air cooler itself is flushed. During the process, the liquid level in the aeration tank and, accordingly, in the air tank increases. Due to this, part of the activated sludge and insoluble particles flows through the overflow remover (21) of the buried secondary settling tank into the receiving tank. The flushing pump also pumps out sediment from the bottom of the outlet tank, which acts as an additional settling tank.

Bioxi: principle of operation and device

Among the many options for collecting and treating wastewater, Bioxi equipment stands out.

These are aeration plants that utilize liquid waste from human life processes. Dirty wastewater coming through sewer pipe, undergo purification and turn into clean water with no odor.

The appearance of the septic tank can easily fit into the local area and it can be beautifully decorated

Aeration unit device

Bioxi treatment equipment can solve wastewater problems for 50 years or more. Moreover, to do this, it is enough to purchase it once and install it on your site. Also, it will be necessary to periodically inspect and carry out maintenance activities.

This aeration unit is energy dependent. Its operation requires electricity in the amount of 20 W per day per user. So, if the equipment is designed to serve a family of 7 people, the daily requirement is 7 * 20 = 140 W.

Model options depend on the number of permanently residing family members. Also, Bioxi is able to withstand periodic visits of guests.

The septic tank body is made of polypropylene highest quality, some individual components may be made of stainless steel. The lid is insulated and equipped with a hole for installing a mushroom-shaped air intake.

The mushroom-shaped air intake fits onto the pipe provided in the cover. It provides a constant supply of air necessary for the life of aerobes

There are several departments inside the equipment:

  • Control block;
  • receiving tank;
  • sludge stabilization compartment;
  • aeration tank reactor;
  • secondary settling department.

The control unit contains the main equipment that ensures the uninterrupted operation of the treatment plant. It is afraid of water, so the manufacturer has provided optimal protection for each of the elements of this compartment. The only thing that is important for the user to provide is protection against flooding from the outside.

The Bioxi lid is additionally insulated - this allows the equipment to be used in the cold season

To ensure effective wastewater treatment, the aeration unit has airlifts, a compressor, pumps, aerators, air distributors, filters and pipes for inlet and outlet of liquid.

The internal compartment for housing the hardware of the septic tank is isolated from the ingress of liquid from the inside. But if the volume of discharged wastewater exceeds many times, flooding is possible.

How does Bioxi equipment work?

The basis for effective sewage treatment from Bioxi septic tanks is aeration processes. The wastewater entering the tank goes through several stages of purification. They are pumped from one reservoir to another, where they are simultaneously subjected to several mechanical and biochemical processes, due to which 98% purified and disinfected water flows out of the outlet pipeline.

The water discharged from the septic tank is safe for use in the local area for watering plants and cleaning

The operation of the installation consists of two phases:

  • cleaning;
  • recycling.

The first phase is intended directly for treating incoming wastewater. The second is for removing excess activated sludge. This phase starts when the volume of liquid in the receiving tank reaches a minimum level. In the second phase, airlifts pump liquid from the aeration tank back to the receiving chamber. To transfer the excess amount of activated sludge to a receiving tank.

Activated sludge in the Bioxi installation oxidizes solid waste and turns it into water and carbon dioxide (+)

When the equipment is optimally loaded with wastewater, the phases are alternated 5 times a day. This provides a good concentration of activated sludge, which efficiently performs its functions of breaking down all organic waste.

Due to the fact that aerobic bacteria actively work in Bioxi equipment, the septic tank does not emit any unpleasant odor. It is important to connect it correctly, ensuring the supply of fresh air and the removal of aerobic waste products.

A constant supply of fresh air ensures the normal course of aeration processes

As for the discharge of purified water, it can be diverted to the terrain, poured into a storage well, or choose another convenient option. Water is harmless and will not cause any damage environment.

If you plan to discharge into an open reservoir, you can purchase a station with the index “p”. It provides increased level purification from nitrogen, phosphorus and other minerals that are useful for irrigation, but not very useful for a reservoir. Thus, high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus cause water blooms and increased algae formation.

It would not be illegal to discharge treated wastewater into a nearby pond. After all, the outlet water is 98% purified.

Local sewerage maintenance

Bioxi is not only convenient to use, but also does not cause unnecessary problems with service. The only thing that needs to be done regularly is to conduct visual inspections. During such checks, you need to check whether the installation is functioning normally. Regular weekly monitoring of purified water will allow you to notice operational irregularities in time if something happens.

So, at the outlet, during normal operation of the station, there should be clear water without unpleasant odors. If the opposite is true, then you should identify the cause and eliminate it on your own or involve specialists.

Moreover, for the first time after putting the equipment into operation, it will have to enter operating mode. At this time, the volume of activated sludge will increase. While the required amount accumulates, which takes about 2-4 weeks, the station is not able to fully perform its functions. Therefore, it is important to optimally load it from the first days so that a sufficient volume of activated sludge is formed as quickly as possible.

To reduce commissioning time, activated sludge from a similar installation can be added. Sometimes it may not take root and you will have to wait about a month until it forms at the bottom of the container.

In addition to visual control, the following manipulations must be carried out once every 6 months:

  • clean the filter for large impurities;
  • catch non-degradable debris from the surface - polyethylene, gaskets, etc.;
  • wash the airlift;
  • remove sludge from the stabilizer;
  • Clean the blower filter and the walls of the secondary settling tank.

It is important that before starting all procedures, you should turn off the station with two switches and wait 20 minutes for the sludge to settle to the bottom. Then using drainage pump, completely remove all sludge from the stabilizer and fill it with clean water to the overflow level.

It is convenient to wash and clean airlifts using the device high pressure. Water with strong pressure washes away all contaminants from the parts of the septic tank. If such a device is not available, you can use soft brushes to clean surfaces from residual sludge.

Concerning winter use Bioxi, then no additional manipulations from the user to preserve it are required

The following work will also need to be carried out periodically:

  • the blower membranes must be changed once every 2 years;
  • once every 5 years, clean the aeration tank and receiving tank from mineralized sludge;
  • replace the perforated liner of the aeration elements once every 10 years.

An electric pump is used to remove mineralized sludge. All these procedures can be carried out independently or with the assistance of specialists.

Activated sludge can be pumped under fruit trees or into a compost pit. It is harmless and is an excellent organic fertilizer

VOC Bioxi range

Bioxi local aeration stations have a very extensive range of models. Moreover, in the open market you can find solutions designed for the disposal of wastewater with a volume of 0.6 to 3 m3. This corresponds to serving 15 people daily. This is the volume that is in greatest demand. You can also buy models with a daily waste volume of 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 m3.

If you need to install a structure capable of treating wastewater in a small cottage community with a population of 500-70 people, you can order an individual project from the manufacturer. The most convenient and economical solution will be developed to resolve this issue.

The size of the septic tank depends on the volume. The more residents in the cottage, the larger the equipment will be

All options model range contain in the name a number that corresponds to the volume of wastewater received or the number of consumers served. For example, Bioxi-0.6 - for 0.6 m3 of liquid, Bioxi-3 - for 3 m3, Bioxi-5 long - a model of an elongated design for receiving wastewater from a family of 5 people.

Moreover, the installation is able to cope with a volume exceeding twice this norm - 1 m3. The main thing is that this is a temporary phenomenon. If guests arrived for a family event and did not stay long. Also, in the names of the models you can find letter designation:

  • s/t – gravity removal of wastewater;
  • “L” or “Long” are models with an elongated body;
  • “SL” or “SL” are options for the maximum overall format.

Besides appearance modifications are distinguished by the ability to cope with volley drainage, for example, coming from the drain of a bathtub, washing machine and dishwasher at the same time. The “s/t” model cannot cope with such a load.

Local sewage system Bioxi can be installed to clean the wastewater of an entire street or an entire cottage community

Bioxi: pros and cons of the station

Aeration units produced under the Bioksi brand have proven themselves in the local treatment equipment market in the best possible way. They are reliable and perform their duties efficiently. Thanks to the improvement of the septic tank and the flexible policy of the company’s management, an increasing number of summer residents are choosing it.

Advantages of aeration stations

Treatment facilities for local use of Bioxi have very significant advantages. As consumer reviews indicate, everyone is happy with their septic tank. The main thing is that the correct model is selected and the installation process is carried out correctly. Otherwise, no one is immune from troubles.

You can do the installation yourself, using a neighbor or friend as an assistant. No special equipment needed

Main advantages of the station:

  • complete cleaning;
  • simple maintenance;
  • easy waste disposal;
  • minimum weight;
  • quick installation;
  • long period of use;
  • minimal power consumption;
  • does not require additional water purification systems;
  • minimal noise;
  • high-quality and lightweight plastic;
  • robust design;
  • safety of use.
  • wide model range.

Complete sewage treatment occurs inside the septic tank itself. External intervention and control from the owner is not required. Moreover, the installation ensures water purity by 98%. Also, this liquid does not contain any harmful impurities.

As for maintenance, the manufacturers have provided the most simple design that does not require increased attention to its work. All maintenance procedures can be performed by the user himself. This does not require any special knowledge, equipment or tools.

You don’t need a lot of pipeline when installing a septic tank - it gives out process water at the outlet

The maintenance process itself and the frequency of certain works are all described in detail in the operating instructions. If you don’t have the desire or time to bother with cleaning, flushing or pumping out sludge, you can call specialists. The sludge disposal itself is simple - pour it into a compost pit or fertilize trees and shrubs.

The weight of the septic tank is minimal - it all depends on its volume. Since there are no metal or other elements in the structure, there is nothing to weigh the structure down. In some models you can find individual components made of stainless steel. But they are so small that they cannot significantly affect the weight of the equipment.

Small dimensions and light weight allow you to install it yourself. The main difficulty is digging a pit the right size. Next, all the work involved placing the container in the pit, filling it with sand, leveling it and filling it with water to prevent excessive pressure on the walls.

Important when self-installation follow all the rules to avoid negative consequences

Also, due to the characteristics of the material, the container is not subject to corrosion. Polypropylene is durable and lightweight. It can be used for more than 50 years. The design of the equipment is of high quality - all seams are made at the highest level and do not allow water to pass through from the outside. Liquid can only flow through the sewer pipeline.

The installation's electricity consumption is minimal - about 20 W per day per person. So, in a model designed for 5 users there are 2 compressors with a power of 60 W each. As for noise, it is minimal. Thus, at a distance of 1 m, the noise level of the blower, which is located under an insulated cover, is 37 dB.

When cleaning a septic tank, it removes contaminants and utilizes harmful substances by 98%. The water has neither color nor odor - it is absolutely safe. There is no need to install filtration fields or install additional treatment facilities - you can immediately water lawns, flowers, and seedlings.

A large number of solutions for any number of users. Moreover, it is possible to create an individual project to order. All issues are discussed, and the customer receives exactly the option he needs. It’s convenient that you can immediately select the configuration, indicating the types of filters for disinfection.

Depending on the location of the septic tank and the type of soil, it may be necessary to install a storage well from which the pump will pump water further (+)

Disadvantages of treatment equipment

There are some negative aspects in the Bioxi aeration unit that became noticeable after using it at dachas. Firstly, incorrect installation is possible. So, if the owner has never had experience in installing such septic tanks and has not read the recommendations of professionals, then mistakes are possible.

In this case, an unpleasant odor may appear or the wastewater may not be treated at all. After all, the home master does not always know how to connect the pipeline and carry out sealing, which will lead to incorrect operation.

Secondly, dependence on electricity. For many summer residents, this parameter is decisive. But the problem can be solved by using batteries or electricity generators. Moreover, Bioxi can withstand without electricity for 8 hours, which in no way interferes with its normal operation. Aerobes will not have time to die in such a time.

The compressors used in Bioxi are Japanese. "Hiblow" are highly reliable

Thirdly, the need to dose effluents containing chemical substances. This is a washing machine dishwasher and abrasives used for cleaning bathrooms. It is advisable to divide such operations over several days of the week. If everything is thrown down the drain in one day, the aerobes may die. You'll have to wait for new ones to appear, which is 3-4 weeks.

Fourthly, the need for maintenance. If we compare it with a centralized sewer system, where residents have nothing to do with cleaning, then here they will have to do maintenance, albeit occasionally.

Fifthly, it is important to maintain the optimal volume of wastewater to ensure normal work. Thus, insufficient or excessive intake of an insufficient amount of fluid disrupts the entire cycle. Frequent overfilling is more dangerous. It can damage the system.

If the number of residents suddenly increases, then it is better to replace the septic tank with a larger model or connect another one

Having considered the positive and negative aspects of a septic tank, you can decide whether this option is suitable for a particular dacha or cottage. Moreover, this option is very profitable, taking into account the capabilities of the treatment plant and its price. It is also very convenient that this equipment does not require frequent maintenance and the purchase of expensive bacteria. All aerobes present in the bioreactor themselves originate and work thanks to the supply of clean air.

Bioxi biological treatment stations can be used in the construction of autonomous sewage systems in private homes, cottages, small holiday homes, cafes, etc. This septic tank is adapted to the harsh conditions of our country, and repeated tests have confirmed its compliance with sanitary and building standards and regulations.

Water treated at this station is quite suitable for reuse (watering the garden, etc.) or discharge into open water bodies. A wide range of models allows you to select a device for specific conditions of use, depending on the number of users and other parameters.

Design and principle of operation

Bioxi septic tanks belong to aeration tanks, which differ from conventional septic tanks and sedimentation tanks and have their own characteristics. The liquid in such devices is saturated with oxygen pumped inside, thus creating a favorable environment for the development of microorganisms. Wastewater treatment is carried out in several stages:

  • From the house, through pipes, water enters the first compartment, which is equipped with an air lift, a coarse filter and an aerator. Primary purification by aerobic bacteria takes place in this chamber. The resulting silt settles to the bottom, and the settled liquid flows through the airlift into the next chamber. The sludge accumulated at the bottom of the sludge receptacle is pumped out through a special pipe.
  • The second chamber, the largest in volume, is responsible for main process cleansing. The main processes occurring in the main compartment: aeration, sedimentation and pumping of purified liquid into the next chamber. Here, certain conditions are created for the development of microorganisms, namely: saturation of water with oxygen and mixing with activated sludge.
  • The third chamber is a sludge mass stabilizer - here the sludge is separated into fractions. The compartment is also equipped with an aerator, due to which the sludge is separated into certain fractions. Part of the sludge is sent to the second chamber to take part in the cleaning process, and part settles to the bottom of the stabilizer and is removed over time.

The water purified in this way (up to 98%) complies with environmental and sanitary and epidemiological standards.

The lineup

All Bioxi septic tank models have the same structure and operating principle, the only difference is the removal of purified water; some of them are equipped with gravity drainage, while others are equipped with forced drainage. In addition, there is a difference in the volume of the tank, which determines the number of users it can effectively serve.

For a private home or cottage, suitable models would be septic tanks of series 1 or 2, which can easily serve families of up to 5 and 10 people, respectively. All other models are designed for a large number of users and are more suitable for installing sewer systems in large houses where several families live, or in small villages.

The septic tank may also have different markings:

  1. Long – elongated design (the pipe is located at a depth of 0.9 to 1.4 m);
  2. SL – super long design.

Specifications

One of the important characteristics of the Bioxi septic tank is the high degree of wastewater treatment. Also, economical energy consumption can be considered an important detail. The station can be installed in areas with a small area; it will not take up much space; moreover, it does not require the construction of additional filtration fields and other means of post-treatment.

The table shows the main characteristics of the entire model range:

Installation

The body of the septic tank is made of ultra-durable polypropylene and is made in such a way that it can be installed in areas with high groundwater levels. The rather large mass of the structure allows it to be installed without a concrete slab at the bottom of the pit and without additional anchoring.

The station is installed on a sand cushion 10 cm thick; the upper part of the septic tank should be 15 - 20 cm above the soil level, this will help avoid flooding of the tank. After installation, the body is filled with sand, while simultaneously filling the chambers with water.

Advantages

The Bioxi septic tank, of any modification, has quite a large number of advantages that set it apart from other similar installations. The main advantages include:

  • High degree of purification – up to 98%;
  • No smell;
  • There is no need to contact the vacuum cleaners; the station performs pumping with its own pumps;
  • Completely sealed;
  • Compactness;
  • Strength;
  • The body and internal components are not subject to corrosion;
  • Environmental Safety;
  • Service life 50 years or more;
  • Easy installation;
  • No need to insulate;
  • Low noise level during operation.

Despite the large number of advantages of the Bioxi septic tank, as well as positive reviews, be careful and scrupulous when choosing a model. When choosing, consider the volume of waste, the number of users, etc.
