Corolla 150 body configuration. Features of tenth generation Toyota Corolla cars (150 body)

The Corolla model has been one of the best-selling in the world since 1974 and to this day. What is the secret of her success? The answer is simple - laconic appearance and traditional Japanese quality. The body is well designed by engineers from a safety point of view, as confirmed by crash test results from the American Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the European Committee (EuroNCAP).

The paintwork is quite thin and scratches and chips actively appear over time. Moreover, places where the damage has reached the metal may bloom if measures are not taken. Although you will hardly be able to find a rotten Corolla in the 150 body.

The most common engine on the Corolla is the 1ZR-FE with a volume of 1.6 liters and a power of 124 hp. It is considered quite reliable among modern engines. It is worth noting that capitalization cannot be done on it, there are no repair sizes for the pistons, and the block is thin-walled. True, some owners manage to sleeve it.

The timing drive is a chain; its only replacement may be required at 150,000 km. This is complicated by the fact that at the same time there is a need to change the stars, and they are changed only together with the assembled phase shifters, which is not cheap. Also, at such a mileage, the cylinder head gasket between the first and second cylinders often burns out.

Among the minor drawbacks, there may be problems with starting the car when cold.

There are no problems with the transmission if you bought a car with a manual or a classic Aisin automatic. But if you happen to take the car on a robot, then most likely you will not be able to avoid operational problems. On the one hand, this is the same mechanics, only with electronic control. On the other hand, specifically in the electronic part, problems may await. At best, you can get by with initializing the box. At worst, repair or replacement of its individual elements, for example, the actuator. In addition, premature wear of the clutch assembly is quite possible.

According to the chassis, the most weak points The steering rack and the intermediate shaft on the steering column are considered. The first problem is solved by using a fluoroplastic sleeve. The second is by cleaning and lubricating the intermediate shaft.

Otherwise, there are no critical problems with the chassis; most of its elements, with moderate use, can travel more than 100,000 km.
Although, approaching this mileage, they may ask to replace the stabilizer bushing.

The salon is pleasant to look at and modern for its age. But the plastic is hard, so crickets are common here. The problem is solved by completely or partially gluing parts of the interior.

The big advantage of this car is that it loses little in value from year to year. But this is also a minus when buying a used car, in terms of the high price for this class.

Another big drawback is the ability to be stolen. In this regard, the car is not much inferior to the older model, the Camry.

The Toyota Corolla model first appeared in the mid-sixties, and at the 2006 Beijing International Auto Show the premiere of the tenth generation Corolla took place, which has a body index, depending on the market, E140 and E150.

Toyota Corolla 10 (E150) replaced the ninth generation model (E120) and has noticeably changed in appearance, beginning to look more solid and modern.

Options and prices Toyota Corolla (E150)

This was greatly facilitated by the increased dimensions of the sedan. Thus, its length has increased to 4,540 mm (the wheelbase remains the same - 2,600), width is 1,760, height - 1,470. The trunk volume of the four-door is 450 liters, and the ground clearance (clearance) is according to the specifications for the Russian market - 150 millimeters.

The Toyota Corolla 150 has been updated twice, the last of which was dated April 2010. Then the car received a different front bumper with a larger air intake, a new radiator grille, retouched tail lights, turn signal repeaters in the rear-view mirrors and redesigned 16-inch rims.

The interior of the restyled version of the Toyota Corolla E150 sedan has an upgraded audio system with a USB input and Bluetooth protocol support for connection mobile phone. And in top trim levels, the car sports a rear view camera, the image from which is displayed on a small 3.3-inch screen integrated into the interior mirror.

As power units There are many petrol engines and two diesel engines available for the Toyota Corolla 150. But the car was delivered to Russia with only two engine options. The base engine is a 1.33-liter engine with a capacity of 101 hp, and as an alternative, a 124-horsepower gasoline “four” with output of 124 “horses” is offered.

The latter could be ordered either paired with a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, while only a manual transmission is available for the initial version. The price of such a Toyota Corolla 150 was 642,000 rubles.

The cost of a sedan in the top Prestige version with automatic transmission reached 878,000 rubles. In the summer of 2013, sales of a new, eleventh generation of the popular model started on the Russian market.

But there is no doubt that the car in the back of the E150 will remain popular on the market for a long time. secondary market Moreover, the model is famous for its liquidity and high resale value due to its good reputation.

The Toyota Corolla E150 represents the 10th generation of the popular car line, which went into mass production at the beginning of 2006. Despite the long development of the car concept, the new Corolla received both new features and disadvantages.

Toyota Corolla E150: briefly about the main thing

The E150 car was aimed at the markets of Great Britain, Central Europe and other countries former USSR, and differs from the American version in the model of the bumper and wings body kit. Also, the American Corolla has greater functionality and power potential.

During its history, the E150 model has undergone 2 modernizations, as a result of which serial defects and vulnerabilities of the brand were eliminated. And if the first revision was aimed at increasing the functionality of the car, then the second restyling consisted of a global reworking of the E150 concept - the Corolla produced since 2010 is characterized by:

  • Improved aerodynamics - the bumper and air intakes of a new configuration increased the streamlining of the body, thereby increasing the downforce acting on the car. This innovation improves controllability vehicle upon reaching cruising speed;
  • By adjusting the headlights - the new form factor of the lighting fixtures made it possible to calibrate the light beam to European standards, resulting in improved lighting quality and a reduced likelihood of blinding oncoming traffic;
  • Improved design - restyling of the car's exterior consists of installing light-alloy chrome wheels, changing the shape of the headlights, and also installing turn signal indicators on the side mirrors;
  • Increased functionality - the car received an upgraded audio system with the addition of additional speakers, a rear view camera integrated into the interior mirror and new upholstery.

The Toyota Corolla E150 was produced exclusively in a sedan body - this decision was made to increase car sales in the European market. Unlike the old version of the E120, the new Corolla is distinguished by its executive class design and increased dimensions, which has increased its status car brand generally.

Technical specifications: what's special about the car?

The Toyota Corolla E150 was produced in two versions: with a 1.33 liter and 1.6 liter engine. The motors operate on the principle internal combustion fuels with atmospheric air supply and are characterized by an independent fuel injection system.
Both versions of the engine are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, but the 1.6 liter was available in a limited edition model with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Vehicle weight varies from 1300 to 1450 kg depending on modification and packages additional equipment. Dimensions of E 150 are:

  • Length – 4545 mm;
  • Width – 2600 mm;
  • Height – 1760 mm;
  • Ground clearance – 150 mm.

The 10th generation Corolla is family car C-class, suitable for use both within the city and on highways. The car is designed according to the NewMS front-wheel drive platform and has semi-independent rear and independent front suspension. All brakes on the car are disc brakes with an increased coverage area, and are also equipped with an anti-lock wheel system.

Fuel consumption is 6-9-7.2 liters per 100 km mixed. For full engine operation, it is necessary to fill in 5W30 or 5W40 oil; the average consumption of technical fluid per 1000 km is 900 ml. Engine oil volume – 5.6 l.

Note! The Toyota Corolla E150 operates stably only on high-octane fuel - using gasoline of a class lower than A95 is fraught with engine detonations and overheating, which leads to a decrease in the service life of components.

Also, the design of the engines provides for the possibility of installing gas equipment of Euro-4 format and higher, which allows reducing fuel costs without actually losing power potential.

Secondary market price: is it worth buying a used car?

The cost of the E150 on the secondary market in 2018 is around 400-750,000 rubles, which is explained by the difference in the configuration and mileage of the cars. When purchasing a car, it is important to inspect steering rack, and also check the engine suspension and transmission - until the end of its service life, the E150 may have problems in these components.

Particular attention should be paid to the version with a 1.6 liter engine and automatic transmission: The 10th generation of Corolla has a lot of vulnerabilities in the automatic transmission, as a result of which finding a fully functioning model with an automatic transmission is now problematic. The best option for purchasing would be a manual with a 1.3 liter engine for single trips or business, or a 1.6 engine for a family or traveling long distances.

It is important to know! When purchasing a car on the secondary market, it is necessary to carry out a complete diagnosis of the vehicle: check the engine, transmission, chassis and let you down. The Toyota Corolla is an “unkillable” car, as a result of which it is often used by taxi drivers or courier services.

In order not to buy a car as a taxi driver, it is also recommended to inspect the upholstery, the condition of the steering wheel and the service life of the buttons on the dashboard - excessive abrasions are a sign of intensive use of the car and it is advisable to refrain from purchasing it.

Is it profitable to operate a Toyota Corolla 150?

Toyota Corolla has a lot of advantages, among which the durability of the engine and build quality stand out. The main advantages of the E150 model are:

  1. Aesthetics - the design solution of the Corolla is characterized by a powerful body and a solid interior. Appearance The car has a streamlined design, there is enough free space inside the car for all passengers, and the upholstery is made of high quality and pleasant to the touch. The main feature of the E150 is executive-class sound insulation, which blocks noise from entering the car interior;
  2. Reliability – the total service life of the vehicle reaches 400,000 km. All structural components are distinguished by high-quality assembly, the body is protected from corrosion, and the interior is resistant to mechanical damage;
  3. Economical - low fuel consumption and high repairability allow you to operate the Corolla even on a limited budget;
  4. Ergonomics - Corolla has a small turning radius and high maneuverability, thanks to which it freely flows into traffic both in city traffic jams and on the highway. The car is completely easy to use.

This car is easy to maintain and does not require large investments in the event of repairs or an accident - due to the popularity of the model, it is still possible to find original components at a low cost in our time.

The development principle of the automotive industry is regular engineering improvement and full satisfaction of consumer requirements. The Japanese concern Toyota has followed this rule for more than one generation of cars. Toyota Corolla in the 150 body is no exception. Specifications Toyota Corolla 2008 allowed the car to become a sales leader in the world market. The Toyota Corolla E150 took a strong position. The popular sedan was released in 2006 to mark its fortieth anniversary. In terms of technical equipment, the Corolla in the 150th body was very different from its predecessors.

Restyling Toyota Corolla 150

Engine Toyota 1NR-FE

Toyota Corolla 2007 has been in great demand since the beginning of production; car enthusiasts prefer this car, which has reliability, safety and good set technical characteristics.

Toyota designers and engineers care about car drivers. The car is equipped with everything necessary to ensure that trips at any time of the year remain comfortable and enjoyable.

To perform basic functions a car equipped with 4-cylinder engines with low fuel consumption.

In Russia, Corolla E150 cars were officially sold only with gasoline engines and front-wheel drive. Cars with diesel engines were also supplied to Europe.

The 10th generation Toyota Corolla sedan could officially be purchased with three engines:

  • 1.3 l, gasoline 1NR-FE 101 hp, manual transmission, cylinder diameter - 7.25 cm, piston stroke - 8 cm, compression ratio - 11.5 to 1, maximum torque - 132 Nm.;
  • 1.4 l, gasoline 4ZZ-FE 97 Horse power, manual transmission, cylinder diameter - 7.9 cm, piston stroke - 7.1 cm, compression ratio as in the 1.3-liter modification, maximum torque value - 130 Nm.;
  • 1.6 l, gasoline, 1ZR-FE 124 horses, manual transmission, automatic transmission or robot, cylinder diameter - 8 cm, piston stroke - 7.8 cm, compression ratio - 10.2 to one, maximum torque - 157 Nm.

Moto Corolla

After restyling in 2010, only two engines remained: 1.3 and 1.6 liters. Models with both types of engines show good efficiency: 6-7 liters of consumption per hundred kilometers.

Toyota Corolla 150 gearboxes

In 2010, the Toyota Corolla in the E150 body was modified in terms of some technical characteristics, interior and exterior of the car. Cars with a six-speed gearbox were supplied to the Russian market manual transmission or 4 automatic transmission.

Feed Toyota Corolla 150

Some Toyota Corolla models back in 2008 were equipped with a robot transmission. But the work did not suit car enthusiasts. Frequent complaints led to the transfer of the Corolla to an automatic transmission.

The robot was no longer installed on the restyled Corolla E150 models.

The technical characteristics of the automatic Toyota Corolla differed from the manual transmission in 2008, with slightly increased fuel consumption per hundred kilometers.

Suspension

The basic technical specifications of the 10th generation Corolla are different high level, including the suspension. The front struts are MacPheron, the rear axle uses a torsion beam. The simple design guarantees comfort, reliability and durability on roads that are not in perfect condition. Technical specifications The suspensions add acceptable maneuverability to the Corolla sedan, as evidenced by numerous positive reviews from car owners.

Toyota Corolla 150 after update

Toyota Corolla cars, released in 2011, stood out from previous generations with a modified body, updated interior and semi-independent suspension. The front is an L-link MacPheron strut, but with a stabilizer installed lateral stability. At the rear there was a beam with a device for absorbing unevenness on the roads. The suspension of this car model is considered the most durable and can withstand more than hundreds of thousands of kilometers without expensive repairs.

Technical characteristics of the 2011 Toyota Corolla in conjunction with high ground clearance(150mm) provide a comfortable ride on bumpy roads.

Tires and wheels

The 2011 Toyota Corolla compact car has three main trim levels: basic (CE), comfortable (LE) and sports (S).

The CE model includes the required standard set of technical features and options. In particular, the tire pressure monitoring system, steel wheels measuring 195/65 R15. Some modifications were equipped with steel alloy wheels 205/55 R16. The sports Corolla was equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels.

What do you think of these wheels for the Corolla 150?

In Europe they installed wheels in sizes R15, 16 and 17. In the American market, the 10th generation Toyota Corolla was sold with 18-inch wheels.

Corolla 150 body

The Toyota Corolla E150 is available only in a sedan body, the technical characteristics of which are slightly different from previous generations of cars. The rigidity of the body was increased, which increased the weight of the car. The weight of the 2008 Toyota Corolla is almost 1.3 tons, taking into account the internal equipment and in various trim levels. Rigidity made it possible to increase the safety of the car, this was facilitated by the use of high-strength steel.

Dimensions of Toyota Corolla 150

The dimensions of the tenth generation sedan were slightly increased in contrast to the previous E120 model: length - 4.54 m, width - 1.76 m, height - 1.47 m. The wheelbase of the Toyota Corolla (2008) is 2.6 m, road clearance (clearance) - 0.15 m. With the increase in the size of the car, the volume of the trunk also increased to 450 liters.

Corolla interior size 150

If necessary, the ground clearance of the Toyota Corolla can be raised using spacers for the shock absorbers. Height ground clearance will increase, but the car will cease to be stable when driving at high speed and will lose maneuverability. You can reduce the ground clearance by replacing the factory shock absorbers with tuning ones. In this case, the car will become more controllable.

Black Corolla on huge wheels.

Restyling of the Corolla E150 in 2010 made the car the safest for drivers, passengers and pedestrians. This is confirmed by crash tests. The machine is equipped with active and passive safety systems.

Fuel consumption

Volume fuel tank Toyota Corolla 2008 release is 55 liters. Most gasoline versions of the car use AI-95 fuel; previous generations also use 92-m.

Swift Toyota Corolla 150

Fuel consumption (in liters) of 3 variations of Corolla E150 for different types of driving (country/urban/mixed) per hundred kilometers:

  • 1NR-FE 1.3l: 4.9/7.3/5.8;
  • 4ZZ-FE 1.4l: 5.7/8.6/6.7;
  • 1ZR-FE 1.6l: 5.8/8.9/6.9;
  • 2ZR-FE 1.8: 6/9.3/7.2.

Diesel cars consume 4.4 liters, 7 liters and 5.3 liters respectively. These parameters are typical for a Corolla with a manual transmission. Automatic machines in such modes consume more, which indicates the efficiency of modifications with a diesel unit.

Corolla 150 may look epic)

For comparison, the 2007 Toyota Corolla consumes 9.9 liters of gasoline per 100 km in the city and 6.5 liters on the highway.

Dynamics

Toyota Corolla cars released in 2010 demonstrate high quality, just like past generations. But they differ in new technical characteristics: modern design, comfortable interior and excellent dynamics.

Good afternoon. I want to tell you about my 5-year experience of owning this car. I won’t describe the agony of choice and how I came to this. I'll tell you about the car right away. I bought a Corolla in 2007. They just started selling it. Joy, delight. Attracts attention on the street ( new model nevertheless) + the color is gorgeous (my personal opinion). Then the joy began to fade with each stop of the valiant traffic police workers. At first I thought that they just wanted to see the car, but they looked more at the documents. It really starts to get stressful - if they see you somewhere on the road or at a checkpoint, they will definitely slow down. The reason for so much attention to my car became clear after 2 weeks. It turns out that such a car was stolen, and it was in blue color. Since at that time there were not many such cars, and even blue ones, every oncoming traffic slowed me down. This is the other side of the coin for you.

Now more details about everything:

Body.

Strengths:

  • Reliability
  • Liquidity (there were no problems with the sale at all, even in my configuration with MMT)

Weak sides:

  • Robot, aka MMT

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2010 Part 4

Hi all. I want to write a little for those who are looking for used cars and are eyeing a Corolla.

There is a lot written on the Internet about how the Corolla is uninteresting, boring, etc. Yes, she has her flaws, but she deserves attention.

I drove almost 50,000 in four years and the engine gives no reason to be disappointed. It is quite enough for confident driving around the city and on the highway.

Strengths:

  • Reliability is a big plus in favor of the Corolla
  • The engine is excellent
  • It starts in cold weather without problems (the main thing is to keep an eye on the battery), it keeps me parked for two to three weeks with the alarm on
  • Excellent brakes, helped out

Weak sides:

  • You can hear the sound of crushed stone from under the arches, but our roads are generally good, so I didn’t bother with noise
  • The trunk lid brackets eat up useful space (it bothered me when I changed shoes at the service station), all 4 wheels fit in, but it doesn’t close because of them
  • The headrests are not adjustable in tilt (although not critical since they can be adjusted in height)

Initially, when choosing a car, Corolla was considered as one of the options, nothing more. But this specimen managed to outperform other contenders (the topic was discussed: “A choice again. Help, eh?”).

Based on the results of less than three weeks of ownership, I have driven more than two thousand km and burned and filled almost 150 liters of fuel (there is a little less than half a tank left). Since I only had a Mitsubishi Lancer among normal cars for a long time, I will compare it with it.

Strengths:

  • Fuel consumption
  • Luggage compartment volume
  • TM TOYOTA is TOYOTA!!! Not a Lexus of course, but still!!!

Weak sides:

  • There is little clearance under the belly.
  • Conservative design.

Good day.

I read the reviews myself before buying the car and decided to leave my own. The choice was between a Civic and a Corolla, and in the end, after “test drives,” I bought a Toyota 06.2013 with a mileage of 100,000. It is used every day.

During this time, only the brake pads were changed (and standard consumables - oil, filters), I changed the low beam bulbs myself (everything is easy and quick, access is good). If we compare with the Germans (before that there were 2 Mercs, mileage 150,000 - 200,000), very reliable car, they had to be contacted by service once a quarter.

Strengths:

  • reliability,
  • body paintwork

Weak sides:

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2007

Good evening everyone!

I just realized that I haven’t written a review about this wonderful car yet.

So, the car was purchased in 2007, when imported cars became somehow closer

Strengths:

Starts and drives. Always. Almost always

Weak sides:

The windshield tends to fog up.

I bought a 2007 model to replace a tired Spectrum. with a mileage of about 200 thousand, so far so good, I’m waiting for the problems with the robot promised by all my friends and the entire Internet (I have prepared 30 kilo rubles :-)))

And so everything is great: the engine is quiet (in the sense of “not loud”), the drag is acceptable (not a sports car - an ash tree stump), the music is not great, but I’m not an audiophile, the radio is enough to listen to, the interior volume is comparable to the previous car , the finishing materials are an order of magnitude better, the headlights are xenon, I don’t know how standard they are - but these shine brilliantly and no one from the oncoming lane blinked even once...

General impressions = everything is good and much better than the previous one, but the price tag is over 5 summer car albeit with a minimum mileage higher than for the new “Petrukha”;-))

Strengths:

  • More composed chassis
  • Better sound insulation
  • More powerful motor
  • Two pedals
  • Bigger wheels mean fewer potholes...

Weak sides:

Against the backdrop of parsley:

  • Lack of aux input - treated by buying a bluetooth for the visor
  • Definitely higher average fuel consumption...

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2009

Good afternoon, dear visitors of the AVTOMARKET.RU website.

To begin with, I would like to express my gratitude to the founders of this site, since I think there is a lot of useful information, both for future buyers and for motorists.This review will be dedicated to a car that we have already sold.

Let's start. The car was purchased in September 2009, as a gift from a father for his daughter, that is, my wife, in the official TOYOTA showroom in Almaty. Yes, this was our first car, which was new, before that we had the opportunity to operate a Mazda MPV 1996 onwards, 2.5 TD, Honda Accord 1994 onwards, 2.0 petrol, Honda Orthia 1996 onwards, 2.0, Mazda MPV 1997 onwards, 2.5 TD, Nissan Cefiro 1995 onwards, 2.0, Toyota Mark II 1993 onwards, 2.0, that is, in principle there is something to compare with, but I think there is no point.Still new car there is a new one, even with its seemingly rather large configuration, with a height of 184 cm, my weight is a hundredweight, the position behind the wheel is quite comfortable, the ceiling is high, the knees do not rest, that is, I think everyone will find the location, unless of course you are a SUMOIST.

Strengths:

Weak sides:

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2012

I fell for the Japanese assembly, hoping that a new foreign car would cost 800 rubles. will only make you happy. Alas! After just a couple of months, a flock of very annoying crickets appeared in the cabin, moving around the cabin, disappearing and appearing again only at their own request. I understand that this is a gift from the Japanese and I will now live with them until the end of my days (or the days of the car).

The machine is extremely rigid, it does not process holes, but falls into them with its giblets. When the frost is below 15 - one or two doors stop working central lock(and I almost never wash my car in winter). Sometimes the alarm system installed by O.D. malfunctions. Those. In winter, when you put your car under guard, you need to try all the doors. The trunk lid also opens irregularly using the button on the key. After 10 thousand mileage, one shock absorber was damaged. Thank you, they replaced it under warranty, although for that cost of maintenance they could have removed all the crickets.

It doesn't smell like 124 horses. It would be nice if the engine was more powerful. These horses were counted at 6000 rpm, why not at 10000? It could be 200 forces! The tank is 55 liters, we could have reached 60. The standard tires are too low profile, the arches allow for a little higher. Consumption in the city in the summer is about 11 (and they promised 9), in the winter 12. The noise is average. If I happen to change my car, I think that Toyota will be a bad choice for me.

Strengths:

  • Design
  • Controllability
  • Seems like a reliable engine

Weak sides:

  • Tough
  • Crickets
  • Incredible cost of maintenance under warranty

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.4 (Toyota Corolla) 2008

I'll start with how I purchased the car.

I decided to buy a car in 2008. Due to limited funds, I wanted to take it with mileage. I immediately leaned towards the TOYOTA brand. Since I wanted to take out a loan, banks charged large amounts for CASCO and interest on the loan for a used one. I decided to go to the dealer. I immediately fell in love with the Corolla. When calculating the acquisition costs, the amount suited me; it turned out to be a little more expensive (taking into account insurance and the amount of payment for the loan) than I would have bought a used 2006, but with an automatic transmission. Of course I chose basic equipment, but there is everything you need: CD with MP3, air conditioning, heated front seats, headlight washers, etc. Before that I looked at the KIA Sid, to get the same equipment for a KIA, I would have to pay about 80,000 more rubles.

So, Corolla 2008, 1.4, gray, Japan, in the base with the installation of an alarm system with a / g cost me 520,000 rubles. Mats, engine protection. bought it at the market. Officials have 0 maintenance, i.e. with a mileage of 1000 km, I installed protection, carried out diagnostics, and stretched all components and assemblies. I didn’t go to the officials again.

Strengths:

  • RELIABILITY
  • Low price of consumables
  • Great suspension
  • Fairly high ground clearance
  • Good handling.
  • Low fuel consumption

Weak sides:

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2007

Hi all!

I collected all the receipts so as not to miss anything, and I’m sitting down to write a review about the Corolla, which I have owned since “zero” mileage.

I chose a car from magazines, since at that time I worked in distant Siberia and the Internet was not available. I came to the salon to order, not knowing that the production of Corollas in a new body had begun. So I became one of the first owners of the 2007 Corolla.

Strengths:

Among the advantages of the Corolla I would like to note:

  • Large trunk
  • Comfortable salon
  • Not a bad engine
  • The car is not bad on the track

Weak sides:

  • Bad noise and mediocre audio system
  • The headlight washer is rather weak, you still need to wipe it with a cloth to keep the headlights clean

Before that, there were 2 V6 Passats with 2.0 in the manual and then a 1.8 TSI in the highline... The last one lasted almost four years... there weren’t any problems, but then it started to eat oil incredibly, the crankshaft rear oil seal and pump leaked... all at about the same time. And it was sold...

Toyota was purchased due to not having much money for a new V7))) The Comfort+ package cost exactly 700 rubles. An excellent car for commuting to work and back, comparable to the VAZ nine, no systems other than abs, even in the top-end configuration. They could at least lock the differential. In winter it slips.

After a year of operation there were no problems; a car of this class could have been cheaper.

Strengths:

  • Low fuel consumption with optimal driving up to 100 km per hour
  • Considerable trunk
  • Heats up quickly in winter
  • Quiet engine operation at idle
  • The ground clearance is quite large
  • Well, simple and tasteful

Weak sides:

  • Weak engine
  • Poor interior trim
  • Mediocre handling
  • The brakes are smooth, soft but annoying
  • Paintwork quality and metal thickness
  • Expensive service

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2008

Hi all!

Below is my review of the 2008 Toyota Corolla. automatic robot transmission, climate control.

My wife drove the car for a year, then she went on maternity leave and sat at home. The car had to be sold as it was not needed for a time, but the living space was improved.

Strengths:

  • Reliability
  • Modern look
  • Multifunctional gearbox (if you want, drive in automatic mode, if you want, in manual mode, if you want, shift under the steering wheel like on a computer, in case of a breakdown you can tow, you can tow yourself - this is not possible with a simple automatic transmission)
  • In demand on the secondary market

Weak sides:

Review of Toyota Corolla 1.6 (Toyota Corolla) 2011

I chose for a very long time. I wanted up to 700 TR, on the machine, reliable car! I went for a test drive of the Opel Astra (2011), I really liked the inside, the seat, the engine, etc., although this equipment costs about 850 tr, I thought about taking the Lancer 10, I took it for a ride - the 1.5 engine just doesn’t work! I drove into the Toyota and immediately realized that it was mine. I almost didn’t have to wait for the car, I got it within a week!

The car arrived without a radio, which is good, it would have had to be replaced anyway! I bought a full-time one with a TV for 10 thousand rubles, although there is no navigation and TV programs, only DVD and USB, and a radio, as without it)), but it doesn’t bother me, I pumped up the interns, I watch in traffic jams, I lift the mood for myself and those around me ))

Suspension and engine are good! 124hp is basically enough, but of course I would like more! But the consumption is pleasing - 8 liters per hundred, it’s the first time I’ve had an automatic transmission, I really like it, I didn’t have to get used to it)) Sound insulation is good, for this money it’s stupid to expect better, I set it to winter the other day - at the level, I thought it would be worse in the city you can hardly hear the thorns! I didn’t like the service at the dealer - they look as if you arrived in a Zhiguli car((. And it costs 11 thousand rubles, it’s just a robbery((... for a Land CR 200 it costs 13 thousand rubles!

Strengths:

  • Price/quality, I personally don’t feel like I overpaid (I read about this somewhere)
  • Warms up quickly, very relevant for winter!

Weak sides:
